Thanks! I have been wondering if I could download something that will save the photometric calibration having to go to the internet each time. I will set this up next time I use PI.

Thank you. It was cool to the the process loading the now local db.

I have downloaded and saved this database on my disk and selected the corresponding place to APASS, but I can't reach APASS_DR10_XPSD item in the scrollbar, I have only Gaia catalogs and others, but no APASS items even if I restart PixInsight.

I assume you are looking in PCC in the Plate Solving Parameters, but you should look in the Photometric Parameters.

@@viewintospace No it was in PCC, but after some hours the menu appears suddenly now, curious ?

Now I found my error, I changed in PCC under 'Plate Solving Parameters' instead of 'Photometry Parameters' !!!

I have watched this many times but i get a error message failed to plate solve, do i need to download more ?

Well, first of all this database does not help with plate solving, it only provides the color data for the Photometric Color Calibration process. Now to be able to do plate-solving without the internet, you also have to download the GAIA databases - I will cover that in my GAIA process video, when I arrive at the letter G ;-) But generally speaking, if you get the error in the Photometric Color Calibration process and you are connected to the internet, then you do something wrong in this process.

@@viewintospace yes I was not connected to the net. and I will look at the GAIA files, thanks
