As an old Irishman who travelled in Namibia in a Toyota Camry I appreciate the beauty of the desert , thanks also for the use of English on occasion . Lucky guys!! Greetings from Northern Ireland .
Wow, what an incredible adrenaline rush, I now know what it must have felt like to fall in love with desert landscapes, just as Lawrence of Arabia did, he would have been proud of all you guys, keep safe and looking forward to seeing more of the magnificence Namib, thank you once again.
There was several adrenaline rush moments later on in the trip, they will follow in later episodes, though the camera struggle to capture the magnitude of the scenery. The scenery is incredible, and the dunes scary , even to walk down as will be seen on later episodes.
What an incredible video and what an adventure! look froward to the rest. the landscape is surreal it reminds me of one of the prequel Star Wars movies. Enjoy!
@@JorsMalan am sure just make sure there's always water to fill the bucket and beer to fill the throat. the planning and logistics food wise drink wise and petrol wise must take some doing.... any dates brought along for snacks?
What an awesome experience this must be. I had the chance to visit your beautiful country for quite some time a couple of years ago, also got the chance to fish on several occasions, fresh water and salt water. But something like this will remain a dream for me I guess, hard to realize with rentals I believe... Keep up the good work, you just gained another subscriber.
This is an experience that I believe should be a bucketlist goal. It is not so difficult to do with rentals, there are operators that cater for this. I tried with the videos to give as good as possible approximation of what it is like, but actually being there in the desert is just so much more imersive.

Greetings. I like some greenery from time to time, but also find he desert beautiful.

Love it jors namibia desert
👍
Ek leef my so in hierdie videos. Ek is daar. Die duine ry is LEKKER. DANKIEEE Jors
So. Which is the best vehicle for this sort of trip
It depends on how many passengers you want to take and how big your load. The Amarok is the best all rounder, the FJ is the best toy.
I would be worried about my fuel supply playing on the dunes. Would like to know a fuel station is close by 😁
None nearby, we had to carry 250L petrol for the FJ and 200L for the diesel's

Ek mis die dae wanneer my pa my vertel hoe sy trip was. My pa se naam was Clarence, maar almal het hom geken as Mac.
Het hy die Namib trip gedoen?
nice video, ek like dit kwaai, eendag is dit my beurt.
It is a worthy goal to work towards, absolutely worth it.
@@JorsMalan dankie, dis motiveering genoeg vir my.
