But it is okay if you use it short term. 10-20 mins short term usage. That is why I understand why ev carmaker like Byd supply only granny charger that can support only up to 1.8kw from our 3 pin plug. Yes it is much slower but I guess they have done numerous testing and shown slower granny charger is much more safer to consumer.

I hope all new developments will factor in EV as a necessity. EV charging should be considered moving forward. If not, EV is dead.
