yes yes !! that table is EVERYTHING OMG !!! perfection after taking some stain off ! and that corner unit is also genius ! that you put two together ! ok ... I'll carry on watching now x
I know right! I love the table sooo much now.....this was definitely a happy accident! And im kicking myself now that I didn't do a little video on the corner shelf but ahhh that would have meant having a shower that day, brushing my hair and putting clean clothes on and sometimes all that just isn't possible hahahahaha

your chalk paint covers so well ! I totally had that problem with my ancient side table from the auction the colour kept coming through x
Yes I was pretty impress with the coverage too considering this is the budget cheapest ceiling paint that I used as a base to the chalk paint.....normally I use a more expensive wash n wear wall paint......but considering how much I go through I thought I give this cheap one a go and although it does feel more watery than regular wall paint once the plaster of Paris is added it thickens up nicely.

WOW! your dining table is to die for! Luv it and your corner unit turned out FAB, also liking the end tables painted white as it pulls everything together - that trunk Lisa you have such brilliant ideas and the hardware you chose defo makes it spectacular Luv it all NOW.... please, please don't ever feel guilty about not doing something (Easter displays) I feel awful now for teasing you about getting the displays done, so sorry. You have been pushing yourself sooooo much for many months now, no wonder you are ready to drop Lisa you REALLY MUST take some time out just to chill, where does it say that you have to get everything done immediately? Please, please just take time out to enjoy what you have done & to recharge before you tackle anything else. Oh Lisa you don't have to apologise at all.....I love all your comments......its probably more the pressure I put on myself really. I have slowed down a bit over the last few weeks and I must admit the 2 videos a week I am currently managing is feeling a lot less stressful for me at the moment so am going to see how that goes for a while. I think just taking myself off a strict schedule of uploading has helped me relax a bit more too. Oh the dining table I absolutely love......sometimes the unplanned accidents turn out better than you could have thought. And just getting all these furniture makeovers out the way has taken out of the stress out of my head too.....so this easter break I have able to get back on top of things and get out house back to a tidy state instead of chaos ever! Have a lovely easter lady!

Lisa I love it. I have an old chest. Definitely over 100 years old and it looks very ratty on top. I have been wanting to give it that shabby chic look but someone told me that it decreases the value. I honestly don't care because I bought because I love it. What is your opinion on that? The hardware and distresses you did really makes it beautiful. Thank you for this video. I chose not to do the Easter decor this year. Like you I don't have the time, and for me, because my home is not as organized as I usually keep it, due to my craft room, I think Easter decor would be a waste of my time right now. Too many more important things to do. I continue with my weekly purchase of wild flowers and that is all I need for now. I did hang my spring wreath on the front door. Broke a sweat so I am done. LOL.
hahahah I totally am with you lady! I just didn't have the energy for easter this year as my house was in such a state of mess with furniture makeovers and clutter everywhere.......I have a week off now over easter so its giving me a chance to catch up on everything and get back on top of everything again and my stress levels are already feeling like they are coming down. As for the chest. Now Im not a person that collects vintage furniture in hope that they will be worth something one day....I like to buy pieces that will suit my home......so if you have a 100 year old chest that is looking a bit ratty and giving it a makeover will make it a much loved item of furniture in your home again I say go for it. Its only worth what someone is willing to pay and if your are not interested in selling it then I don't see anything wrong with giving it a makeover. But that's just my opinion and I'm sure antique collectors would disagree lol.
@@LiveItLikeLisa I have to agree. It would be beautiful and "suit my home" more if I provided the chest with a makeover. Wish you could come over and help me out. It's just a few thousand miles commute. What do ya say. A little road/boat trip? LOL. It will take me a while but when I finish it I will send you a picture as you are the one that has given me the incentive to do it. Thank you
