Do y’all remember when her character showed up later on when the same guy was assaulting other women and he was finally caught? Her character became very strong by the next ep and was angrily searching for him. I’m glad they had him finally caught and sent to jail.
No he got killed by either Harper or his wife, they ended the episode with a cliffhanger with the question “who killed him?” Bc his wife said that she did it but Harper was the one with shooting experience and a permit (at the range)
Tracy pollan was awesome as Harper she had a great arc from survivor to fighter who took her power back I wish she would come back as a counselor who inspires other survivors
The lady calls 911 at 2317 after she’s forced to shower, goes to the hospital, station, and is dropped off at her boyfriends at 0701 the following morning. Then while the cops are checking her place out, Olivia mentions the shower curtain was still wet, but the dude says, “But the soaps not.” Really? What bar of soap does he use that stays wet for over 7 hours? It doesn’t. Even if it sat in a tray with some water in it, the top of the soap would be dry.
It's a narrative shorthand (or sloppy writing) as realistically the crime scene personnel would have been going over the apartment ASAP while she was being interviewed, probably around midnight or 1 am (hence the shower curtain still being wet, when it too would have dried after seven hours), but they needed the stars of the show to be doing it.
Of course this show is great but the cops always look so inept and stupid. They go hard after a suspect, rough him up, sometimes choke him up, pull a gun on him, accuse him like they are so positive he's guilty. Harass him at home and at work then find out he's innocent. Then they are shocked when they get called out.
130 in, it is against the human rights of that woman to sit in the main lobby waiting area exposed to eavesdropping and in an uncontrolled environment. She should ask to speak in private. I've been through a few assaults. Unfortunately. And there's no way, in God's name that I'd declare my assault details in the fuckin wait room. Absolutely not
Sometimes life doesn't give you a nice comfortable option to say what you want to say, when you want to say it. You may miss your chance to speak up about it all if you get too insistent on a private space to tell it and keep putting it off for that reason - that's not helpful in catching the guy any faster. If the option doesn't present itself, then you have to make do with what you are given even if the location is not the most ideal.
I can't believe she cheated on Elliot even though this episode was from about 20 years ago or so and there wasnt any attraction between them at the time.
Detective Olivia Benson never cheated on Detective Elliot Stabler because he was married to Kathy Stabler and they were never romantically involved with each other plus Benson was a single woman so could have a romantic and sexual relationship with any man including Detective Brian Cassidy.
Omg I remember watching this with my mom recently and I forgot about the scene with liv and Cassidy and I remember looking at my mom and being confused
She ended up so traumatized & delayed shock cuz she thought they'd never catch him. She moved to another city & I think changed her name but did change her look. @ the very end I think they caught him

Perhaps overreliance on one organization for all public safety and enforcement thats used for all situations might have been putting all our eggs into one basket. Something like this was inevitable given our lack of accountability for officers and our prison for profit complex. Having separate departments for different public and law enforcement issues might have avoided this issue entirely

Didn't she team up with the recent victim and get him killed or something? Or they covered for each other?

Not necessarily.
to be honest, cutains shouldn't be wet either after 7 hours.Otherwise you use the wrong type of curtains.
yeah that's kinda the point.... if the shower curtain hasn't dried out, but the soap did, that's weird.
SVU is a woke joke
Let’s put this suffering woman through the anguish of describing the assault in a busy hospital corridor
She should have won an Emmy for her guests spots.
This is my favourite episode two especially with Olivia Benson she’s awesome
@@parismahone291 She supports whoever she thinks is the victim. Often wrongly.
