Great video, youve sold me on it. I have the vibra tector 740, it will hit a soda can at 5" which is not really helpful, but more dissapointing is that im only getting 2" of depth on rings and coins. The nokta blows it out of the water.
Always a good explanation about all this detectors, thx and im thinking into buying one of these, one question... did it works well as a pin-pointer with the Excalibur?
Unfortunately the pole circuitry will drive the x-caliber crazy even if you set it up as a pinpointer as opposed to using the five and a half inch coil.
@@DG-yl9uf I have adjusted the frequencies and you can find one that will not react with the Excalibur but the problem is when you turn off the pinpointer and turn it back on , it still makes both the pulse dive and Excalibur chatter. Then you have to go through pressing the buttons again to find a Clear Channel. I did a small video and sent it to the people at nokta to see if we could figure something out
I saw that you tried to use the detector as a fan , if you put a plastic cover over the base you could use it to detect and also fan away the sand and pebbles
Another great video. I took mine out in a small lake last week about 10 feet down. very good depth.. but you will dig everything. I was happy I did not have to use the dive mode.
Amazing video! Wow i cant believe you were double fisting.. i have enough trouble just swinging my detector under water. I live on an island so i have strongly been considering getting one of these. I would probably need a lanyard of some type attached to it because i tend to go out in the evenings and it can get dark, with my luck id lose it. Looks like fun. Thank you for the great video.
Outstanding I'm ready to start work on some cold cases in San Diego and some of the evidence is in a ocean inlet near I-5. This is what I need for sure. Thank you.
I got rid on my vibra tector as it was always "falsing" I'd clear it but then 10 mins later it would go off again without a target! The Nokta has never let me down and I also bought the larger coil as well. Forget the vibra tector it's useless and that's not just my opinion !!
nice vidios👊 whats the difrence in ground dep between the pulsedive and minelab. can you make a video an a comparison with thoese too? ths for your videos
If you're talking about the Minelab Excalibur, it goes deeper than the pulse dive. The coil is more than twice the size and it goes about twice as deep on coin/ring size objects.
Yes, another great video. I got the underwater way back from Gary at DetectorPro. Just curious, have you had to change your battery, and if so could you doit yourself? Thanks!
Any issues you can see with this handheld unit? Excellent demo and I am debating between the Quest Tector and the Nokta Pluse...and I imagine they work well in fresh water too?!! Appreciate your opinion my friend. Mike in sunny Florida
Hola tengo un pulsedive y he pulsado estando apagado... boton A mantener y luego enciendo simultaneo.. el equipo queda con las luces led roja y verde con destellos ... sabes a que responde ello.. a que se debe?
It has a rechargeable battery and I haven't tested it to its limits in terms of continuous running time but I have had it out twice for a total of 5 hours and it's still going strong on one charge. They're selling for $160
I've used the Garrett carrot in salt water and it is nowhere near as sensitive as the pulse dive. The circuitry is different and is much more stable and saltwater along with the greater depth. I use the pulse dive on maximum sensitivity and had absolutely no falsing.
I don't quite understand your question but the purpose of this test was to show that the Pulse Dive was able to work well and hear almost all of the signals that the VLF metal detector with the 8" coil was able to hear.
I am so pleased I came across your channel, your content is most informative and interesting to watch. Thanks
Does it have any function on the ground out of the water? Can the ring portion be removed to convert to more of a stick style pinpointer?
Yes
Looks great for clean areas ...Nice depth" 🤿....Thanks for the Demo 🤸♀️
It makes me think of metal detecting with a pin pointer. Seems like an extension handle of some sort would make the swing area much better.

You just saved me buying the 740. It was a toss up between these two
I have been wanting a good small detector that actually works well. I appreciate the review!
You may change between 40 different frequencies to avoid interfering with other detectors. Hold F and press power i think.
Fantastic mate it’s not sensitive to small gold but very fun to use great hunt & finds 🤘🇬🇷💙
double handed metal detecting ,,,,I like It !
🤣

@@DetectorComparisons Have you tried shifthing the frequency? It has 40 steps of freq shift.

Hello. It does come with a lanyard as well as a wristband: www.noktadetectors.com/metal-detector/pulsedive-scuba-detector-pointer-2-in-1-set/

That is a workhorse. Thanks for doing this review, I am convinced.
its a neat little machine! i noticed the guard disc scratches easily. but then again i used on pebble beaches...great vid! nice finds (;

do you think the pulsedive with a 8" coil will reach about the same dep?
@@totekiproducts3252 If it came with a large coil, yes. But you would also have to dig everything because the pulse dive does not discriminate.
tks hope you can make a video in mines on cristal quartz see how it react to raw gold?
I'm picking one up to use for beach vacations. Thank you for the information.
Is feasible doing without diving, just holding the air underwater?
If you're good at holding your breath, you can use it while snorkeling in shallow water
Yes, another great video. I got the underwater way back from Gary at DetectorPro. Just curious, have you had to change your battery, and if so could you doit yourself? Thanks!

So far so good, it works well in fresh and saltwater.
Ill ask again 2 yrs later.Do you still use this or would you buy again thank you
the detector, the scuba, the cam, the neopreno... you,ll look like a cyborg coming out of the water

good to see you back impressive little machine would prefer a bigger coil myself nice vid...
Some people says it doesn't sound on gold 18k and white gold, is that true?
I've tested it on both 18 and white gold and it works fine. Thanks
@@DetectorComparisons Ok thanks a lot 👍
Carter, I heard that Pulse Induction detector's attract sharks. Any word on that?
Hey Woody, haven't had an issue yet. I've heard speculation but not any actual incidents
Great demo, as usual.
Is it on pulse induction?
Will it detect lead?
Yes it will, I have found many sinkers with it....
Good vid, great finds.
Love the video nice and informative
What do you use to put your finds in?
A mesh bag clipped on to my BC
Also looking forward to your future underwater videos with the equinox.
that little thing is cool, how much does it cost and how long does the battery last! great video mate well done

9:02 what was that??
Good eye!! That was a crab the bolted when the search coil got too close....
Great Video. Do you recommend the Pulse Dive for Salt Water?
It works great in salt water!! Very stable and deep for 4" coil.
Nice one Carter
Bought this because of these
you tube videos went to Croatia
GUESS WHAT CROATIA DOESN'T HAVE sandy beaches just rocks stones🤬😡🫣😤🙄😮💨
Thanks for nice review 😊😊😊
Were you snorkeling?
He was diving you can here the breath and regulator.
What is the estimated battery life on a full charge ?
8 hours
8hrs
Amigos adquirí un pointer y se me ahogo. Mucho cuidado apretén Y lubrique. Muy bien con vaselina el tapón. Se está filtrando el agua.
Dude gotta be related to Predator 😂
Good review it doesn't seem like it is any better than the Garrett Carrot. GL&HH Matt

nice Video👍😉
Affascinante
Pulse induction and multi frequency don't play nice with together lol
Jó
too bad that pulse dive cant see small gold ..great machine but …
👍🙏👨👨👧👧👼
Not bad
CAN YOU HEAR UNDER WATER ?
Loud and clear
Ok
I don't understand the meaning to have a metal detector with you...and the edit of the video...is a trick or what?

Mine works out of the water and stop working underwater 😬😬
