The Nightwish cruise departed Turku Finland June 8, 2015. It was an overnight cruise ship and Nightwish was the only band to perform. They did a full set each night and some one-off performances such as this one. There was another with just Troy and Marko, where they did a few covers, like Pink Floyd’s Money and Jethro Tull’s Locomotive Breath. This was the first time and one of only a few times this song was performed live. You can see a professional video from that cruise of Yours is an Empty Hope.
Now, *that* is a Cruise I'd like!
At the Hellfest 2022 and Deichbrand, Germany 2022 shows you'll hear Troy more as he's the only one contributing back up vocals since Marko left!

Floor shouting: "Do you know what happened to that boat!" (This Nightwish performance was indeed on a cruise with the ship "The Baltic princess" between Finland and Sweden. You may have seen the version of "Yours is an empty hope" from this cruise)
The main character in the Kingslayer Chronicles is Kvothe - pronounced "Quothe". Auri is named after one of the other characters in the books.

Tuomas wanted this to be the first song to be released off this album but Troy and marco talked him into elan instead, this concert was them getting together and playing for the staff of the cruise God bless
Yes , it was a cruise ship. The acoustic session. I think I read that it just started with Marko and Troy playing whatever they wanted. Kai and Floor jumped up to join them, and I believe Tuomas and Emppu were in the audience.
You have heard Troy sing before, but just 3rd harmony behind Floor and Marko. I see Harvest was suggested here in the comments, Troy sings lead on that. He does some vocals on some songs with Auri. Auri is Tuomas' folk music side project with his wife, Johanna Kurkela, and Troy. If you want to hear Auri, try Night 13, or Pearl Diving. Johanna is the main singer.
