I'm back again with some quilt binding and more sock sharing. I did share more details about the quilt on my Instagram account if interested: / susanbanderson
Just came across your videos. Love the Kaffe fabric on the back! Good to see you again! Like the simplicity of the pattern, 5" blocks. Keep posting when you can!! 💚
How nice to see you back with such a lovely video. The quilt is divine and I love your way of binding. Hand sewing is so calming to do but to watch as well! Your cardigan is beautiful- I aim one day to be able to knit something with my hand spun yarn - but I’ve a bit of practice to go yet before I produce yarn that is fit for use!! 🌸
So good to spend time with you again on YT. Since the start of Covid, I’ve renewed my love of making quilts and have also opted for a much more relaxed approach than my previous quilting adventures. Coincidentally, my current quilt will have the same backing that you have on this one in the video. It’s one of my favorites. I’m playing around with different types of binding and am wondering how wide your binding strips are on this quilt. Wishing you all the best❤️
2.5 - inches for this one. I have cut my own binding before and made it wider like 3-inches or one time even 4-inches. This is the measurement before folding in half, of course.

@@SusanBAnderson I like the look of the thin edging on this one. Thanks, Susan!!
What is link and name of the knit kit ? Your sweater colors are so nice ! Is it your pattern? Yarn? Sock pattern link? TY
The sock pattern is my How I Make My Socks free pattern. The cardigan is my own handspun yarn but I used the Wave of Change pattern by Denise Bayron.
