How lovely to sit with you while I knit, it is always such a treat when you podcast. Yes, yes, yes I watch you and I really don't mind waiting for your episodes. Great to have you back on the small screen. Your presence is calming and gracious. Many of us can use a little more plain and simple, whether it be in knitting a great pattern from Pam Allen or in how we approach daily living.
Hi Susan, you’re the first knitter I found on Instagram when I first joined Instagram and continue to follow. This is the first time I’ve ever watch your UA-cam channel. And, the first one I’ve watched from start to end. I’m looking forward to watching more. I know that you’ve posted some of your sewing projects and always dreamt of following your footsteps. I bought a sewing machine a few years ago with the intent to learning to sew one day. I’m a full time grandkids sitting, Monday to Friday and knits at night time and weekends. I’ve knitted a lot of projects that I’m so proud of most specially the 2 christening gowns, one was vintage looking lace in ivory colour. Love to send you a photo if you’re interested. Anyway, the Plain and Simple book by Pam Ellen you posted is lovely and would love the opportunity to be the lucky one (blessings) to get picked. If not hopefully Indigo (local bookstore) carries it. XO

It is so nice to see a podcast from you, Susan, I could listen to you for hours. The Plain and Simple book looks intriguing, I have yet to knit a sweater and would really like to cast one on. I have a couple sweater quantities of yarn, but I'm somewhat timid to cast on a sweater; shawls and socks are so quick and I know it would take a while to knit a sweater. I love the look of the patterns in this book, a timeless sweater would definitely be the way to go for me. I look forward to your next podcast.

I haven't knitted a sweater in thirty years since my children were young.I am getting tired of socks and would like to start a nice plain sweater in a natural color.I need a nice simple pattern.
