You really show up those overpaying young braggards who most likely are living illegally in Thailand while saying that you can only live like a pauper if you have a budget of 66000 baht. I done the rail journey in the opposite direction 18 months ago, very similar weather as you got, which was a shame. Great vlogs can’t believe you only have 3k subscribers, you deserve 10xs that with your honesty and directness to a topic.
We did the same train journey back in February. The weather is much better that time of year. No rain at all and high 20's. Hoi An was my favourite then Phong Nha known for its fantastic caves.

It is certainly looking better for rooms in Vietnam than Thailand. While there is it possible to find out about long stay visa and mention them in one of your videos? Shame you can't use the Power Director to put in a VDG to GBP conversion on the screen.
Hue looks cold. Reminds me one time I was going to take the train from Saigon to Hanoi with stops along the way. But unfortunately I stopped in Danang because the farther north I went the colder it got.
