I'm gonna be giving my gf this watch as an engagement gift to go along with her grandmother's ring. I've showed her watches 3 times the cost but if i dont bring up the values she always gets captivated by this one. CW is killing it.
I love the C63 anyway. These watches are so well made and they feel buttery smooth on a bracelet. The design choices like the simpler handset and the absence of a date window absolutely make sense to make the aventurine dial itself pop. A very tempting watch!! The brushed bezel is perfectly fine for me.

A bloody "oh" came through my mouth too, but for a useless "automatic" on it... As for the bezel, think it makes this kind of GADA watch. Sparkly a bit on the dial, but a strap monster (i guess), date-less (amen!) and ready for any occassion. Ain't so?

PS I'll tell you once more. You may be used to bigger watches but all 36mm i've seen on your wrist are spot on.
Yeh they are but i think its the overall fit, that lug 2 lug is really small but it does wear really nicely. I think i would have preferred it on bracelet
Ordered one. Noticed the Automatic-text is off-center. Along that, the new clasp on the Bader bracelet is too long. Returned it.

It is a looker for sure, a 38mm would be a good size as well as 36mm.
Saving up for a Sealander white dial.

Christopher Ward make great watches. I do have a CW, not this one though. I visited Venice a couple of times as a side trip to a business meeting in Padua and bought an aventurine neck pendant with some gold leaf inside for my wife. Not as expensive as it sounds by the way but really gorgeous! I'm not taken by it on a watch dial though. It is really striking for sure and I did see it on an Ali Express watch a mate of mine got and it was very nice to see in person but I still couldn't see myself wearing one. A matter of time taste only.

@TheWatcherReviews I Agree. I've han an obsession with the moon all my life though lol so yeah, I guess my mind is made. I might get the 12 (36) for practicality.

The beveled edge/boxing on the crystal is, on this watch and almost any other, redundant. It isn't really transparent, and just hurts the esthetics. It looks bad and plasticky on my Trident Pro 600 as well. Can't understand why they do it... Maybe they are afraid that a flat crystal without this boxing would look too plain and "cheap"?
This didnt have a box crystal, flat but raised slightly
