I wish more games were not afraid to have more weird but unique mechanics in their gameplay. Then again people might complain about a "Lack of Immersion."
Each Contact has 3 different dialogue, and the 3rd one is always a short voiced line. Duo/Trio combos - where the characters don't coop with each other only have one. Jun Horoscope has multiple different ones.
@@Hella_Animations I'm not talking about just negotiation itself, many of the games do in fact use it, since it's been a staple of the franchise since Megami Tensei. In fact, P5 brought it back for the Persona series, which is a welcome change, and I was so happy that they even hearkened back specifically to P2 in the process, but it's still a watered down version of this system. And it's this specific system that I'm talking about, varying negotiation options when mixing certain characters, multiple different attitudes and responses demons can adopt, each with their own effects and results (some of which can ALSO be mixed), and ecwb negotiation options that change not only canonically with the story, but also through the presence of optional content.
I remember when I tried pairing Lisa and Yukino for contact cause I never saw it done before and wanted to know if they said anything and even though it's not an actual contact, Yukino just casually dropping she has younger siblings this whole time was a pleasant fun fact lol
It always breaks me when Lisa does make-up on Jun 👌😂✨ Also, i really love all the trio ones! Overall my favs would be Tatsuya's impressions, Eikichi's full band with Jun & Tatsuya, as well as just Yukino straight up beating the demons up with whoever's teamed up with her 😍
I dunno why they decided to make Silverstein say every single Tatsuya voiceline sensually in an almost ASMR manner. And I have no idea if I'm thankful or weirded out for it.

To be honest i am very much intimidated by the negotiations in this game, and that makes it exciting to hear that this game is getting a remake! I wanna give it a try one more time
P1and have real demons like most other megaten games, so yeah you need to do demon negotiations with them, they are turned into Persona's after you get them.
