Good video! You seem to know a lot about cars! I'm sure you are very good at your job. And I appreciate your taking the time to put this video together.
I have a question - my car has been in the shop for over 6 months. I paid the mechanic over $6,000 to rebuild the engine. He told me that they are having trouble finding pistons and rods for the engine. And that they have checked other mechanics and they may need to contact Japan for the parts, since my car is a Mitsubishi 2004.
Also, they said that they can't fix the car completely there at their shop and that they removed the engine and sent it to "the mechanic shop", a different location and a different mechanic, to work on the car.
Is this normal? To send the engine to a different mechanic to rebuild it instead of rebuilding it themselves?
The question I have is, is this normal to have someone's car in the shop for this amount of time? Is it normal to spend over 6 months finding parts? (If they're having trouble finding pistons and rods then why didn't they check Japan 5 months ago?)
I don't trust what they are telling me anymore. Could they have simply spent the $6,000 I gave to them back in February?

From your accent I assume you are Russian. I have a question about another car. and since they are quite popular in Russia I thought you could help me.
I would like to buy an Audi C4 A6/100 from Germany/Austria.
Now I know these cars dont rust from the outside, but what about the underside of the car? This is the reason why I am selling my W124 250D because its too rusty from the underbody and I woulnt like to take a risk when drivin 500km every week.
Are these Audis good against rust from the underbody?
