I've loved your reactions and this one was no different!! Gorgeous ending to a beautiful series (though it definitely had me crying, screaming and cursing throughout). I still don't know exactly how I feel about the movie, but I know that it was outstanding overall.

@@mamadeereacts Omg me too!!! I always imagine that I'll be too starstruck to speak if I meet the boys (especially Mark Rowley, who plays Finan, whom I ADORE) so it's probably for the best that I don't see them in public 😂😭

I forgot I had already watched this, but I watched it again..I could never get tired of TLK & this movie although it had certain thing I don't approve of. There is no real indication that Aethelstan was homosexual so nobody really knows why he never married & didn't have heirs, but perhaps it's like Uhtred said...so Edmund can take the throne unchallenged. History Profiles on UA-cam has more information about England, kings, queens, the Vikings, & more.
