Not used ONR before, but it seems to be a very popular product, and if Brian over at Apex Detailing uses it, then it's good enough for me. I can also get it in the UK !! Thanks Kev KP Daly Automotive
Hi...I'm sure you could, it would be leaving a layer of protection as you clay bar, which could be what you want,...or not. I guess it depends on what you want you want to se as protection after.
@@MirandaDetailing indeed! I use to spend so much cash on chemical guys claylube back in the day ugh.. I'm glad you put videos to help out begginers it will help out alot!
I have ONR and love it for its intended purpose as a rinseless wash. For reasons I can’t completely explain I prefer my Wolfgang Uber Rinseless diluted for a WW/QD (3oz/gallon) or clay lube (only 1 oz/gallon). In fact this WW ratio is what I use to pre spray before an ONR wash, as well as door jambs. But I don’t care for Uber Rinseless as a rinseless. ONR feels slipperier. Either way you slice it I can’t believe I will ever pay for a “clay lube” dedicated product. That seems crazy.
Cool. Thanks for sharing. It’s funny how we all have our favorite products and ways of using them. I agreed on the dedicated lube...why?! It’s used up so quickly and can cost so much. For us mobile guys it’s not cost effective. 😎👍🏼
Didn't say it was DIY at all....nice try but...your comment is...well...also misleading...clay lube should have a certain amount of lubricity without leaving excessive residue on the surface...therefore one will always have to use some sort of manufactured product like this. This was intended to show how to make a cheap clay bar lube that lasts a long time. You could simply use Dawn diluted in a bottle but that may leave a certain residue on the paint. You could also use a certain clay bar like AM Clay that only requires water. so you have a few options.
Been using it for years for everything, good stuff
If I have plenty left over in a already diluted bottle, will it still work a couple days later or do I have to make a new bottle every day I use it.
Wtf you look like Buzz Lightyear
Love the way you think miranda. I have chemical guys rinse and shine. (Same thing as ONR) I PUT 5 oz in a gallon. Last me forever
Thanks man!

It’s an awesome product. Smells delicious too! Yes if Brian uses it, I agree, he tests stuff like crazy! I wish I had the time to do that.
Can you use the green ONR with this mixture?

Yes!! I put like 8 oz on a gal haha 2 oz a gal is barely anything.. We have the same setup haha
Cool! Yeah I used to just mix 2oz and it didn’t feel right. Now it actually feels slippery.

I'm uncertain if this would also make a good wet sanding lubricant. Good idea?
Or soapy water like you should use.

You still have that claimed (never tested out...yet) slickness between towel and the paint? Asking because onr seems "grabby" to me
Really? I mix ONR more than they recommend so it’s nice and slick when using it as a clay lube or quick detailer.
Good God. Dude's eyes are terrifying. I didn't know humans had black irises. Lol
🤣 I’m a Betazoid!
I was wondering if he accidentally left the big eye filter on lol
Oops! I did!! 👀🤣😎👍🏼
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
First!
than am second ^ _ ^
Not an actual diy. Still have to use the manufacture’s product. Misleading.
