Gross Run Restoration

This is a recent stream repair at Gross Run in Ephrata Borough. The leveling minimizes streambank erosion while the cobbling prevents excess sediment from emptying into the Cocalico Creek downstream. The next steps will be adding natural filters and habitat along the edges of the stream. The project was funded through ARPA grants.
