Weird Fact: At launch some data miners found that in the files for Race With Ryan were alternate face textures for Ryan that had his eyes and Mouth sewn shut and bleeding. Guess they didn't like working on the game huh

Fun Fact : the main character designer for Modnation racers (Jessie Hernandez) helped design vinyl figures for Kidrobot , which was the style they were trying to go for , also btw he was the co creator of the nutshack.

Toy Story Racer is SO GOOD. I Love how they took as much from the movies as possible and actually turned it into something fun with carts that are surprisingly enjoyable to bounce and drift around in.
Fun fact: In Race with Ryan, there’s an unused texture for Ryan’s in-game character that has his eyes and mouth stitched up and coated in blood. I don’t think the devs had much fun making the game...
I looked it up, and, wow, it's actually moderately disturbing. I wonder if Ryan himself ever found out about this.

As someone who played the PS3 version of ModNation Racers. I absolutely enjoyed it. Especially the custom characters, karts and tracks. Like a Shadow the Hedgehog kart made out of a cheese base

Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 is actually great and a massive improvement after a couple days with it.
It would be cool if they remade the Wacky Races game or just straight up made a new one, they could include the Mystery Machine and other Hanna Barbera characters. It would never happen, but I'd kill to see Harvey Birdman in the game, as in the Attorney at Law
I actually got a hold of Wacky Races for the ps2 ealier this week, and my dear gosh is that game a blast! I never watched the show up until recently, so I don't have any connection to it aside from Dastardly. But the gameplay alone and how, for lack of a better word, wacky it feels, it has definitely earned a Spot as one of my favorite kart racers ever

I even found Build-A-Bear products based on Ryan's World too and even one time, WildWorks, the creators of beloved MMO games like Animal Jam and Feral even once made a mobile game based on Ryan's World, and back when they were known as Smart Bomb Interactive, they even made Pac-Man World Rally, which is what you talked about last time. Yeah, it seems that the UA-cam channel is really that big that not only did it get it's own video games, but also it's own lineup at the most famous teddy bear maker stores ever and it even got it's own toy line which I discovered that from the site of one of my country's local stores that my family sometimes shop at to get new clothes, that was mind-blowing to me. EvanTube HD never got any of those despite being a viral UA-cam sensation as well.
The entire bit with Race with Ryan I was waiting for it to be addressed about that one texture where Ryan's dead eyes were bleeding and his mouth was stitched.
I can't make this stuff up if I tried.

I loved watching the Wacky Races growing up and have some fond memories of getting to watch it at my Uncle Randall's house. Occasionally he would watch the cartoons with us whether it was Popeye or Scooby Doo so lots of good times. Glad to see one of the games in this video and it looks pretty fun.

Jebediah's back? I don't think you understand how serious the implications are.
Jebediah is so powerful that he clawed his way out of Lego Racers and into Mod Nation Racers just so he could murder Darryl and take his spot behind the wheel. He then hacked into Wacky Races's game files to make the game unbearably difficult so that Mav wouldn't be able to unlock his favorite racer. However, he still let Mav use cheat codes out of thanks for creating him. He was also responsible for the 12 character roster in Nickelodeon Kart Racers. Rumour [weed] has it that Nickelodeon Kart Racers was planned to have around 36 characters, but Jebediah Thanos snapped two thirds of the roster to death, and even though there were 12 survivors, Jebediah stole their voice boxes so that they could never call for help in the chance that Jebediah roasts them in his atheistically motivated barbecue grill. And yes, I did say Thanos snapped, as Jebediah went back in time to kill Thanos even before the events of Infinity War. Thanos tried to snap him out of existence, but Jebediah was able to reverse the effects of the snap by pulling off the sickest dab that the multiverse has ever seen. And before you bring up Iron Man, all his actions really did was reaffirm the fact that Jebediah's killed Thanos. If anything, all Iron Man's snap did was prevent his attack from ripping a hole in the space time continuum. Even then, Jebediah yeeted himself to murder Tony Stark and steal his gauntlet. And he took Thanos's, too, just in case he needed a second gauntlet. I don't know why he specifically chose to attack these obscure kart racers, but sadly Wacky Races will forever be unfairly difficult, Nickelodeon Kart Racers will only have a third of its roster with no voice acting, Toy Story Racer kicked off those callous pervert Woody memes, Fruit Racers will run out of fruit by the end of 2020, and he punched the stuffing out of Darkseid until he became nothing more than a flaccid pancake. All because he couldn't be playable in My Sims Racing. Oh, and as for Race with Ryan.......well, let's just say that there's a reason why the parents were barely featured in the game.
This is why Red M&M wears a cowboy hat; so he could match Jebediah in power. We mock his shitty video games, but he is the most necessary evil there is. He may not seem like much, but when he approaches the sound barrier, he becomes invincible. Of course, we don't know how he'd compare to the final Rad Jebediah form, but I heard from a source that Rad Jebediah could erase all of existence just by installing it.
Very cool video, wacky races is a game I didn't know of, I really wanted to play it in my childhood, by the way, I was waiting for a rare gem, MUPPET RACEMANIA, my favorite Ps1 racing games of all time, nobody talks about it, I think is very old but really cool!!!

I hope Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 Grand Prix comes out already and for the Wacky Races game to be ported to the Nintendo Switch to follow the success of Super Mario 3D All Stars.
I think the PSP version had some shot porting. I've got the PS3 version, and I don't remember the problems you mention being nearly as bad, sound mixing being improved definitely from what I remember.
Never played Nickelodeon Kart Racers 1 but trust me, the sequel has a load more content, tons of challenges to unlock everything and yes the AI is brutal (Specially on the last speed class which is pretty much good luck trying to be 1st)

I think Modnation Racers also allows the player to use the boost gauge for shields. I'm not sure if it you ever get the chance to anticipate a hit though.

@@spongefan155 It's a Mega Man kart-racing game that was originally released in Japan for the Sony PlayStation, though it did eventually come to the US as an unlockable title found in "Mega Man X Collection" for the Nintendo Gamecube and PlayStation 2.
I had the PS Vita version of ModNation Racers: The Road Trip. It honestly shared a lot of the same issues as the PSP game from the sound of it

Toy Story Racer is actually a sequel to Travelers Tales's 1999 game Muppet Racemania.
Toy Story Racer reminds me of RC Revenge Pro to an almost uncanny degree, which is interesting because RCRP is an Acclaim game.

Toy Story Racer is a good game, with a weird roster choice. Released two years after Toy Story 2, but only features characters from Toy Story 1. No Jessie, no Pete etc. Wild.
The characters in Mod Racers look like they're from Sunset Paradise.
Speaking of the PSP (for better or worse) crash tag team racing was also on PSP, it was admittedly pretty good because despite the slightly lower quality graphics it's the frame rate and controls are just as fluent as it is on home console, however there are a few key differences, for one crash's starter vehicle was 4 axle instead of the tri bike from the home console, actually that were a few differences on the PSP version
I know it's more of a vehicular combat game than a straight up racing game, but I'm curious on your thoughts on Cel Damage. Cel shaded graphics, cool power ups, creative characters, fun voice acting (including Charles Martinet), bouncy controls, the works. Biggest criticism is the lack of content, though.
There's technically three versions of the game that exist. The original release on XBox and GameCube, the Europe exclusive updated PS2 version, and the HD version on modern platforms.

Dude you should check out Nickelodeon Kart Racer 2, it’s surprisingly really good. Way more content and way better controls imo. I played the first and thought it was awful too but was pleasantly surprised by how good the sequel was. Still not CTR or MK level but very competent.
I'm not ashamed to say... I spent WAY more time on Toy Story Racers instead of C T FUCKING R. I really loved the game and it was so obscure

This was a good video, awesome kart racers you put out here with mixed results, some reactions were surprising to me, all the ones you liked and actually proved to be Good surprised me!.. Even that kid UA-camr game, which was wondering if you were ever going to talk about the game after mentioning it in a message on UA-cam like 2 months ago... I think it was that long... And I honestly thought it would be bad too, but the fact that it was an actual GOOD kart racer was shocking to say the least.... Who knew.
And about the last game, no never watched any of the shows you mentioned growing up, yes including scooby dooby doo.... SHOCKING! But I've seen clips of the shows and of the recent movie, even of Dastardly and I assumed he was a scooby billion only like Joker is to Batman and such.... So YA that shookes my world a little bit, lol.
I'll be honest, using the Charlie Brown Adult muphle voice was pretty good and funny, you totally heard that voice before, made me assume the next one was a peanuts racer... Which I got to look up if there even is one now... Like seriously.

The first kart racer you talked about, I forgot what it's called but it's the one where you made your own track, I TOTALLY REMEMBER HEARING ABOUT IT GROWING UP!.... Never played it I never owned any PS related systems till the ps4, but was always curious about it at a young age, then completely forgot it... Glad I got a taste of it here, thx bro.
Toy story racer shocked me in the fact that it didn't include toy story 2 content, 2,it controlled like an RC remote control cars and the tracks were unique in there design.
As for Nicolodian racer.... Hoped for better, but ya, disappointment.... Also on that note..... Not sure you should have shown the footage of the final episode for representing Avatar The Last Airbender, considering if no one has seen it and is far enough ahead to k ow who was firing the blue flames, and knows zuko well before what brought him to that particular fight in season 3, when the person is... I don't know, in the middle of season 2.....ya kind was concerned there... It's no big deal not trying to dis you on it just saying.
Overall, it was an awesome ride..... Got to say, hope you still do reviews, but doing topic videos like these are becoming you bread and butter, hope you can keep these videos up.

You should check out Loony Tunes Space Race on the Dreamcast. It has a PS2 port that's a lot of fun.

You mean an open world/sandbox racer like Midnight Club, Forza Horizon, or The Crew?
@@CrasherX2000 Open world, yes. The idea is that it can be a combination of collectathon and racing where you complete certain challenges in order to open other parts of each world as well as new tracks and racers.

Edit: Ah yes Race with Ryan. I kinda dismissed it as a cash grab and tried to subtly/not so subtly direct people towards CTR:NF. I'm surprised that I was quite a bit off on that. So, good for kids to try out at least. And at least it's not the $60 tag I so often see obvious cash grabs for.

Modnation Racers for the PS3 is way better than the port.
I don't remember having any of the same problems with the PS3 version.
It really was a fantastic game, until the Online functionality was removed.
It kinda became a flavourless block after that.
It'd be nice to see a sequel to it, but since the company that made it went under around the same time the servers went down, it doesn't seem likely.
