I was there when they were filming I just didn’t get to go back to the Wildwood Grove Park, until just after filming. I did see Dolly in the parade though.

Why is the music so loud?
We was fortunate to experience Wildwood Grove a couple of days before Public opening and wow what a great area. I love how Dollywood keeps everything about families.
I wish so much I could rent a cabin and go to DOLLYWOOD. IT WOULD BE A DREAMCOME TRUE FOR AN OLD LADY
All you have to is search for cabin rentals in Sevierville,tn with combo tickets and. Discounts on area attractions
Dollywood is more wholesome, better everything (especially food) than Disney World as we have been to both. The area’s town Sevierville, etc. are scenic, friendly and fun!!
Jane Eyre the only thing I don’t like about the food is the gluten free pizza but I definitely agree

I would say Knotts Berry Farm is on the level of Dollywood

As a Pacific Northwesterner Dolly and Dollywood are totally foreign to me but Dollywood looks fun! This makes me want to visit. 🤗 My kids would love it.

Well said considering how exhausting it is to type snarky comments. Meanwhile, Dolly is Southern and her waist is at maximum 20”. I know people will throw in a cosmetic surgery comment but cosmetic surgeons cannot install discipline and an extremely high work ethic. Stop with the ethnocentrism, there are many healthy people in the American South just as there are many morbidly obese people all over the United States and the rest of the world. We are all human, therefore not perfect and no matter how far down you put others it will not elevate yourself to perfection.

Why does Dolly cover her hands?
Hands are one of the first things to age. Her skin may be thin and bruise easily also. Madonna covers her hands also for this same reason.

It's funny you mention that. I once sold a car to the lady who was used in the movie Steel Magnolias as Dolly's hands double. She said Dolly refused to have any close ups of her hands in the movie so they used the ladies hands in the shots where Dolly was fixing hair. She said she still receives monthly royalties from the movie.

Juju B no it won’t! There are people from all over the world that visit Dollywood! Everyone can enjoy it :)
That's a good question though. Pigeon Forge TN is 87.62% White and 0.31% African American. I might feel okay at the park, but maybe not staying in a hotel in the city. Sad that people still have to worry about that, but it's true. And I'm from a small Southern town as well.
I'm a white male and would never, ever set foot in Tennessee. They're all poor and vote for Trump. Its awful to see that Bush daughter take Kathie Lee's job away.

U have to have a lot of money to really enjoy the park and that's not fair to the less fortunate
I wouldn't call it cheap, but Dollywood is MUCH more budget friendly than any of the Disney parks. For example, an adult season pass is approximately $125. That would barely get you one day at Disney.
