Can you tell me if these are prone to shorting out? My 2009 shorts out every time in seconds. Fuses in fuse boxes look ok. Haven't removed the deck yet...
Hi Dino77, I was wondering how many miles you have on yours! I have to get my CD player fixed or put in a new one. Mine has a little over 134,000 miles but has a oil leak so I am getting it fixed. The car still runs quiet as ever.
@@belindawilson6619 my 06 sonata 3.6L has 211,000 miles. It runs well and very quiet. The engine does make a rattle noise just on cold starts due to the bad lubricator design commonly known for this engine year. I live in the South so there’s no rust at all. I put a double din car stereo in that does not have a cd player because I can use Bluetooth songs from my cell phone. Around 150,000 miles (year 2018) I think the CD player gave me trouble and the digital screen went blank. So I put in this new stereo and soldered all the wire connections.
This was helpful but the thing is where/what kind of radio can you replace it with? Because as you can tell the top part of the radio is curved, most replacement radios are flat, so therefore it wouldnt look or fit right, im trying to do this with my Sonata but im stumpped on where to find a curved radio, any advice??
