just switched from AirPods Pro to EarPods after my AirPods Pro battery failed. impressed by the comfort and sound quality of the EarPods, and the audio quality is not compromised when using the microphone at the same time.
I realized this years ago, which is why I always carry both types of headphones in my backpack. My coworkers often ask me why I sometimes have AirPods Pro with me and other times I have wired ones. I explain to them that I exclusively use the wired ones when I'm talking with clients on the phone and conducting a presentation. I always use them because of the quality of the microphone. I use the AirPods to listen to music in the gym and have casual conversations with family, friends, or when I'm doing some housework so I'm free from any cables.
Very good earbuds. Just make sure to buy a case for them to be held in so they dont get as tangled. The first earpods that came with phones like the iphone 6S came with an awesome little case so i believe its worth it

Initially excited about the premium AirPods Pro (2nd generation) and their advanced features, but the microphone quality disappointment compared to the $19 EarPods caught me off guard. Surprisingly, the EarPods outshine the AirPods Pro in microphone performance, which is unexpected given the price difference. It's disappointing when a higher-priced product falls short in such a crucial area. Here's hoping for substantial improvements in the next generation of AirPods!
@@adamtalkstechI don't think it's (only) the Bluetooth bitrate. I have a Sony XM set, those sound much better than the AirPods, while being 4 -5 years old now.

Maybe something with the compression or the fact that the microphone is further away from the mouth than the wired versions, etc. But there are enough options that offer good mic quality. Including the cheap wired apple versions.
Hi there, I find the video very informative. I sometimes sing on smule, so was looking for a good earphone which has good built in mic. I am confused to choose between Samsung AKG or apple earphone because they both are very popular. Both have type C. Is apple earphone better than Samsung AKg?

And unlike AirPods, it actually records a significantly better sound, and it doesn’t randomly stutter or cut off temporarily, or have random popping noises. The issue is the hiss, however, I found that you can completely remove the hiss by enhancing/editing the audio afterwards, very easily. Just some info in case it’s helpful to you.
Could you test if this earpod functions as a peripheral on a USB-C KVM switch between two Macs, or alternatively, between a Mac and an iPhone/Android device?
will this work with an iphone 11 if I have an usb c to lightning adapter and did they ever make a second earpod lightning version- I still have my old ones but am not sure if an upgrade is necessary for a better mic?
I asked someone that works at Apple (via their chat on their website) and they said the lightning EarPods and the USB-C EarPods have the same microphones. Don't know how true it is though lol.

I had airpods pro 2 and it has awful mic especially at outside! If you test airpods pro 2 outside you’d see the massive fiasco. I didn’t understand why you didn’t test airpods pro’s mic at outside maybe you did and you didn’t share:)

I think it's bluetooth bitrates more than anything else.

There is a lightning as well as 3.5mm version too and I even think that the lightning ones got a bit of an upgrade along side these (not too sure).
