This monitor is top tier! I love the fact you can switch between the 4K and 1080 high refresh especially with the option to scale the diagonal view down to a usable esports size for a desk. The speakers are the cherry on top, this monitor caters for pretty much every need with the best display technology (oled) atm and has a nice minimalist non 'gamer' design.
It’s so close to perfect, the dual mode function needs some work, the 1080p mode is very blurry compared to a native 1080p monitor when scaled down to 27or 24 inches and only really usable at the full screen size, and then the full screen size is hard to get used to for a competitive game. I wish there was a remote with this monitor which made the 27 in OLED a joy to use the menus on. MLA isn’t quite there yet with these, the vertical lines are very visible in grey backgrounds still. Text at 4k is fine, but it looks like a screen door is in front of your monitor. VRR flicker is still an issue and is super distracting making adaptive sync on this monitor a no go. All of that without mentioning the price, if this monitor was perfection I wouldn’t judge the price tag, but the compromises are real here.

I was having trouble getting used to the increased size of the 32in display, but after an hour everything was ok and I was able to get my head back into the game. After watching this 4 months ago, I finally went single monitor a month later. The second monitor was mostly an idle screen or a screen where I could properly read something while typing on the main screen. But looking to the side often leaves me with a stiff neck and a headache. Plus, I found myself always distracted cause I'd use it to play UA-cam while doing some work. I find myself still distracted but not that much when I had a second monitor.

Congrats on reaching one million! Can't think of a youtuber more deserving. Love your no BS content style and the aesthetic choices and editing you make!
I have to admit, since switching to a single monitor i'm much happier with focus levels. even in work, im not getting distracted by team chats or checking my emails ever 30 seconds.
i have this Monitor for my PS5 Pro and holy smokes... the image quality, the picture quality, the graphics, the sharpness, the colors and absolutely everything is incredible. i cannot say this enough. This monitor is an absolute beast, i mainly care about the image quality and picture 4K that's why i got it plus OLED my gosh the Blacks on this thing is amazingly dark inky i love it!!! I'm Coming from Sony inzone M9 4K ips 27" monitor and it was an awesome monitor but this right here is different Game Changer, also the "matte coating on the display is not grainy at all or very mattey, its more like matte and glossy put together in one, it really is nice to look at and the most amazing part of all of this, it went on sale for $400 off so i paid $999.99 plus tax instead of retail price of $1399.99 plus tax, i got it at Best Buy
It would be sick someone made essentially this monitor except a 5K120Hz and 1440p480Hz dual-mode version of it. 5K is exactly 4x1440p so the scaling would be perfect 2x. Some people take issue with 4K not being super sharp for productivity at 32 inches, and 1080p not being sharp for gaming at 32 inches, so going 5K would be perfect for both of these usecases. When Thunderbolt 5 and the next generation of this panel arrives (~2025) that might happen.
I really liked your video review of the computer desk. The desk top, chair, and accessories-my preferences match yours by 90%! Finally, I would love for you to make this video every year. Thank you.
A topic I haven't seen covered much in monitor reviews is Energy Consumption. Most gaming screens are either F or G while their consumption is in the 25-35W range. Might be a challenge but I would be interested in knowing what's the best gaming screen for energy consumption especially with all those new technologies (Oled, Microled vs the old tech) and the higher refresh rate we are getting. Just an idea for a topic, thanks for the work as always !
a quick note on using in-ear headphones daily. I have been using them for the past ~10 years and I would usually only plug in right ear only (so I can hear what's going on around me). Recently I've been having issues in my right ear that it is overly sensitive, and doctors suspect there might be hearing imbalance because of using single earphone...
This is starting to get on my nerves. Since I started watching you my PC budget for a new workstation jumped from 2000 to 3000 euros. It turned from „I need enough vram for my 3D work“ to „This device needs to kill god“. Srsly love your work :D
I return the LG 27” OLED because it was giving me issues. I got full store credit at Best Buy so I’ll be purchasing this new LG 32” as soon as they get it in stock.
Would just like to comment that this monitor is insanely good. I was on the edge, and after purchasing and testing for a few hours I can totally recommend it. window scaling I'm currently experimenting with, at 100% it feels a bit too small, but perhaps its just the distance from the monitor. Gaming-wise I love that 480hz mode allows me to "scale" the monitor down to 24". I play way better on a smaller screen where I can see the entire screen at once, while also staying close to it. I would definitely recommend this monitor, perhaps not at its full price (est. 1609 euros atm), but maybe for 1200 euros or so. This monitor is 9.5/10 for me (minus 0.5 stars for the high price).
@optimum I´ve build the same T1 setup with a few improvements here and there. THANK YOU for the videos, introductions and 3D models!! Helped me a lot. I love this small sized overpowered PC
IDK if the only person to think this but if all the music that are in that playlist at 1:28 are like the one you displayed then I defiantly want the full playlist!
I have been using an LG 32" 2560×1440 as my only monitor for about 1.5 years. It is a gaming monitor but I do not really need super high refresh rates for work (software engineering). I also find it easier to stay focused with one monitor. I have used dual monitor before but I do not miss that setup now at all.

His videos are the best when it comes to pc setups
It would be sick someone made essentially this monitor except a 5K120Hz and 1440p480Hz dual-mode version of it.
5K is exactly 4x1440p so the scaling would be perfect 2x. Some people take issue with 4K not being super sharp for productivity at 32 inches, and 1080p not being sharp for gaming at 32 inches, so going 5K would be perfect for both of these usecases.
When Thunderbolt 5 and the next generation of this panel arrives (~2025) that might happen.
Always loving the vibes and aesthetics.
Congrats on 1 million!!! Been here since 75k and your quality content continues to be amazing
I really liked your video review of the computer desk. The desk top, chair, and accessories-my preferences match yours by 90%! Finally, I would love for you to make this video every year. Thank you.
What chair is it?
Congrats on 1 mil subs. You are my favorite tech youtuber for sure.
arde the cpas also part of the collab?
A topic I haven't seen covered much in monitor reviews is Energy Consumption. Most gaming screens are either F or G while their consumption is in the 25-35W range. Might be a challenge but I would be interested in knowing what's the best gaming screen for energy consumption especially with all those new technologies (Oled, Microled vs the old tech) and the higher refresh rate we are getting. Just an idea for a topic, thanks for the work as always !
So happy you’ve accomplished 1 million SUBS🎉 been a fan since the beginning!
Writing and research and using excel is where having two monitors helps. Also great for gaming in full screen and taking notes
Your setup is really admirable! I hope I can replicate it one day. Cheers to 1 mil subs! UwU
DEFINITELY MY DREAM MONITOR SETUP! GOING TO BE ON MY WISHLIST THIS YEAR!
its always a slap in the face when i see a nice monitor and it almost costs as much as my monthly bills for my house
Congrats on 1M Optimum. Hope your Apex side Channel will reach them soon too 🙂🙂
Bro! Congrats for the million! and man this screen....
a quick note on using in-ear headphones daily. I have been using them for the past ~10 years and I would usually only plug in right ear only (so I can hear what's going on around me). Recently I've been having issues in my right ear that it is overly sensitive, and doctors suspect there might be hearing imbalance because of using single earphone...
congrats on 1 million subscribers
Yep, that's my all time fave tube guy right there
This is starting to get on my nerves.
It's always a great day when Optimum uploads. Congrats on 1mil!
Congratulation on 1 million subs! I love your channel! 🥳🎉💜
CLEANEST tech youtuber ever.
@optimum
I´ve build the same T1 setup with a few improvements here and there.
THANK YOU for the videos, introductions and 3D models!! Helped me a lot.
I love this small sized overpowered PC
1mill crazy crazy well deserved though congrats
I like how optimum just seems like a normal dude, there's no filler
gratz on 1 mill
IDK if the only person to think this but if all the music that are in that playlist at 1:28 are like the one you displayed then I defiantly want the full playlist!
I agree with this _ please share
Bro is the King of Greyscale. Everything is super duper clean
AAAGHHHHH congrats on a million man, truly one of the greats!
congraats on 1m bro, well deserved
1mil brother!! Remember watching you when you had like 50k subs lol congrats my man 👏
Bro you should have 10mill subs no lie, keep it up 😤
For some reason i keep hearing "... on this monster" and it really conveys the idea :)
