I think Huahine would be a much better match for you. It’s around the same amount of darkness but a more neutral undertone. The yellow undertone of Tahoe makes you look a bit jaundiced.
I think you need a shade up to match your neck because it does look beautiful, but the shade that is darker is also warmer! Try it 😊

Nars has been consistently releasing shades for woc so 33 shades from nars is not anything different from what theyve been doing over the years. Plus this only came out 2months after rihannas release which means it has been in production way before rihannas foundation released in stores.

Nars is great in terms of the colours.....its the only brand that has truly olive and yellow undertones (that i've tried) its just too oily
immi's snow globe Bobbie Brown foundation is the best I’ve tried other than Rihanna’s. Bobbi Brown has true olive/yellow undertones

I tried Bobbi brown foundation and some are too red or too pink, even the shades that were considered olive. Bareminerals is amazing for olive skin!
By the way what is your shade in the NARS foundation?

ive been wearing nars tahoe for years it fits my skin tone perfectly although i dont consider myself a person with carmel undertones
Rihanna did not start a revolution. Mac, bobbi brown, estee lauder, lancome, nars ect ect had a good range for woc b4 fenty.
Landcome has always cane thru for colored girls shades. Real makeup heads know this already. Your so right

Nars was always inclusive but it has improved so I think the deeper colour headline recently has nudged them to create more colours such as mine In Carcass 😛

TxBeautyQueen83 have you tried BACCA’s LIQUID BLOTTING PAPER? Omgoodness, I have dry skin but I apply my Estée Lauder DayWear moisturizer generously and that BECCA PRIMER had my face MATTE (Dry as ever)! I haven’t used it since. I believe it’s for oily skin... NOT MINE 💛💄
there's a primer i came across by accident but it works like a dream and i have oily skin but with this primer you would never know it's by Elizabeth Arden and it called Flawless Start Instant Perfecting Primer
and it works with all foundation brands

Great review! The foundation looks so good on your skin!! I think you should try it with primer, perhaps the NARS primer. I just bought the foundation today in the shade Macao and I can’t wait to try it!!! I love my Fenty Beauty though too.

Would you compare this to the Koh Gen Doh foundation? It seems similar finish wise and consistency wise.
I think the NARS foundation is a little bit thicker and has more coverage than the Koh Gen Do aqua foundation
Taylor Anise Thanks for replying!!! I think I'm going to go with the Koh Gen Doh only because I'm really not big on full coverage. On top of that the Koh Gen Doh mimics skin beautifully and I love the finish it left on you. If I need more coverage I'll probably add concealer. Loved the review!!!

It matches great, powders, contouring etc cuts it some but it looks perfect melting into her neck very well...
You do look like u have caramel undertone ...you don't look yellow to me at all

Yes unfortunately they now sell in China which means they have to test on animals in order to prove safe for consumers in China.
PS u also don't look like a Tahoe u look darker so I think u need to. Really go get matched at sephora sweetie
