Ladies, this foundation does pretty well with the facial 😷 masks. I started using the make up 3 weeks ago & make up doesn't come off too much. It really does pretty well with humidity, heat & masks.

I get what your saying ,I think a warmer shade would fit u more .it's a slight grey cast .
But maybe with bronzer blush etc it would warm it up a little .

Hey Tina! I have this foundation and I’m on the fence about it. Like in your review, my skin looked amazing initially but within a couple of hours I had oil breakthrough my t-zone. I live in Florida and it’s still ridiculously hot here so I’m sure that doesn’t help. I did use primer, powder, and setting spray. I have oily skin but I do have some dry patches as well around my nose and mouth. Overall I think it’s a beautiful foundation but I’m still trying to find ways to make it work to control the oil my skin. It did cling onto my dry patches and it did transfer some onto my mask. I will try skipping moisturizer and just using sunscreen instead underneath along with primer. I have the shade Tahoe and you and I are have some shade matches. I think it does match me pretty well despite me usually wanting something a little more neutral. Thanks for your review! ❤️
I love a soft matte finish. I’ve got Crisco level oils so I always prime and powder no matter what the manufacturer claims. It looks beautiful on you so I think I’ll give it a try!
I’m really glad that you did this video, I asked you which shade you chose on IG because I ordered it in 2.3. I’m more golden neutral but I can also wear certain olive shades. I am going to stick with my golden olive shade because the warm tone mixes with my skin and doesn’t show any gray cast. I also love mixing foundation; So Tina....I mixed it with the Koh Gen Doh foundation and OMG that had such a beautiful finish!!! I’m really into this matte/dewy combo for achieving the perfect skin like finish that actually lasts on my oily skin.
Even tho oily skin can be troublesome and rough on most foundations. Embrace it, it protects the skin from 1,000 wrinkles and dryness. Your skin should have some slip just like your hair. Constantly dry hair is almost always prone to breakage and spit ends.
I love my oily skin. It’s not a problem for me because I know the pros outweigh the cons.
I'm so happy to see another foundation review from Tina but I think the shade was a little ashy on her. I think maybe Cadiz might have been a better match?

That's what I thought too, usually I'm shade twins with her and I've always been matched to Cadiz in Nars.
Cadiz would be too red on her, i think she should have stuck with Tahoe, it always looks amazing on her in their other foundations.
Tina your reviews are always so thorough, thank you so much! Your skin looks great! I'm more on the normal side of things with my skin but i'm still interested in this. I just have problems with Nars shade match. In Sheer Glow, I wear Santa Fe in the summer when I'm tanned. But none of the lighter shades match me in the winter when I'm paler. I find they lean really warm or peach in the light to light medium side. Gotta experiment with this new formula and see if it works for me.

What I find with having oily skin is that no matter what the foundation claims you will always have oil breakthrough in the t zone. It’s all in how you prep your skin. When I was wearing makeup on the regular basis I would always use setting spray as part of prep and then spray again after completing the complexion part of makeup routine. That definitely helps with longevity and oil breakthrough is at a minimum.
I am loving your hair color, Tina! It looks so shiny and silky. You are going to hit 100K, I just feel in the universe. :) I got this foundation in Syracuse and concealer in Biscuit. The foundation gives my combo/textured skin such a beautiful soft matte finish.

Great video! I I have this foundation and I like it. I do think I like the Too Faced foundation a little bit better for oil control. I have oily skin and this foundation peaks at about four hours, so I won’t wear it on long days, but it is very pretty. Thank you so much!

I just went to look at the new shades. I wonder if the 2.3 Moorea would have been better. That was the olive undertone one. 🤔 This is the really annoying part about this stupid Covid virus. Because when you're like us and have a difficult time shade matching, it's frustrating to buy complexion products without swatching. I am happy that they've extended their shade range. I'm normal to dry, so I'm gathering a few opinions to see if it's going to work for me. The jury is still out. Thanks for the review!
Yes! From what I’ve seen, Moorea seems like a strong olive whereas some of us have a lower olive intensity. I’m contemplating that shade & Tahoe & Cadiz.
Hi Tina, great honest review. After trying this foundation, I did notice the same as you. I have combination skin, with a frying pan oil excess in my t zone, and yes it separated around my nose area. After about 4 hours it did separate around the balance of my t zone. That said, everything you said, I agree. Will be doing same to test it out with different primers and powders. Looking forward to see what you come up with.

The foundation looks good on you. I want to try but I have too many foundations to use. I haven’t started using my Pat McGrath foundation yet. I think when you have oily skin and you use a matte foundation you pretty much know what your skin will do with mattes. It will challenge it to see how it will hold up. If the oil breaks through oil wins. I was told the shade colors are slightly different from the radiant and sheer glow. I wear Barcelona and in the matte it will have a slight color difference.

The foundation you have isn’t deeper than Tahoe, the undertones are different. That’s why brands are able to have such a large diverse range because of undertones. It’s hard for people our color. My undertone changes so much

I have normal skin with a oily nose sometimes. I didn’t plan to buy it but got a small sample free with purchase that I’ll be trying out. Doubt I’ll buy a full size though. Great video.

This looked great Tina and i like the squeeze tubes as much as the pump bottles. I tried that same shade of rare beauty foundation but it came up a hair light on me so i’m going to exchange it.

For Nars I usually go for Seychelles or Martinique. I live the tinted moisturizer plus you get a lot for your money.

Oh man this looks so good on you. A shame I have dryer more mature skin. I don’t like full on dewy foundations any more on me. I like to look fresh and more youthful but my features are too strong in my opinion and I look like I have contour and highlights all over my face not in a cute way. If I’m making any sense at all.

It looks like baby skin, and i dont have baby skin lol. And it holds up very well under a mask, better than anything else I've tried.

These seem to slightly lighter. Macao matches me perfectly in summertime and their other shades don't match me in winter. I think Macao may be better for almost year round wear for me.

I love you Tina, but that shade is a bit too light. This shade makes you look a tad anemic, like you need some green banana! The claims about it not holding down oil on the nose is also not quite fair because you don't put much on your nose. I think it's only fair to do another review with your right shade and more foundation on the nose area. Love you!!! Doan cuss me!
