    Most underrated video.
Rename this video because it applies to the Rancher/Foretrax and all Foremans of that design.
Your video should have 1000s of likes. I'd give it 1000 if I could.
    Thank you.
Now we just need to rootcause the issue.

I have a 2004 rancher 400 with the same problem, I’m going to try that fuse trick, so rectifier could be the issue?? Also the quad won’t rev past 4000 rpm approx. sound like a rev limiter and backfires sometimes, burn a little bit of oil, I’m debating whether it could be a plug fouling out bc of the oil issue? Hope I can get some help

@@sebastiandosamantes9237 spark plugs would be a good place to start, might also be worth doing a valve adjustment

@@ATV_Garage_Guy already adjusted valves and changed plugs, even did a top end and still going, could the stator or rectifier be bad? Already replaced the computer and still does the same

I haven’t started my 01 Rubicon for a few months & today the display screen dosen’t work.
What sensor do I need to replace?

@@smileysun9212 I've heard that it could be the rectifier from another video. I'm not sure though myself, I've never figured out a full time fix for this unfortunately.

@@ATV_Garage_Guy Thank you for the response. I really don’t need the display & I never go over the speed limit. The clock is nice when I’m plowing & I like checking how many miles when I go riding.
I noticed the ESP is not changing gears & I mostly can hear it.
I did some more research & the rectifier was one of the solutions but one person said he had a corroded wire at the rectifier.
I can get a rectifier on Amazon for $20 but before I order it I’ll check the fuse, battery & plug at the rectifier. Hopefully it’s an easy fix.

Put new rectifier in & that didn’t fix it.

I have a 2005 Honda 400, and I did the same thing, and the display doesn't come on.
any other thing that I can try?

@@isaakhiebert6340 how long did you unplug the fuse for? I had to leave it out for over 5 seconds on one model before putting back in for it to work. Does your neutral and reverse indicators work on the dash at all? If not, the meter may be completely dead.

Anyone find a permanent fix or the solution for this?
