Capturing a stunning mountain canyon with the clouds billowing above. I used MH oil paints for this piece with a little bit of walnut oil medium and only a very tiny amount of liquin to aid in the drying of the painting. I painted this on an 8x10 hardbord panel with gesso.

I paint with acrylics and have been painting for years. I struggle with clouds more than anything. It's a hit or miss for me. My problem is the paint dries too fast and I can't blend them too good. I've even used a retarder.
