Nicely explained mate. Had some fight with these over the year in fact it was one of my first jobs working in a car many year a go now. Funnily enough only had a set of vice grips then too. Good times!
Nice job. I just had to change the gaiter on my 407 and I was going to take off the track rod end where it connects to the hub to do it. Thinking that it would save me having to get it tracked again if I didn't touch the adjustments. The whole joint ended up spinning, so I just ended up leaving that end connected to the hub and disconnecting it at the other end instead. I just came here to make sure that the end connected to the hub didn't have another nut under the rubber, or the cap or something, that I might have inadvertently loosened while it was spinning. But, yes, it looks like it's just a plain old ball joint that was spinning so I'm probably fine. Thanks!
Thanks for the nice words .. I don't ... But you can buy direct from Peugeot or if you wished I would be going for top spec Lemforder track rod ends to get best quality 👌👍🐷💪

Yes, just plain joint.
Simply raise a jack up underneath the joint to squeeze it into the hub and stop it spinning 👍👌🐷💪
Great video dude
Stop stalking me 🐷
I can't... Bacon is addictive
There are groups than can help you. I sought help. I found peace.
How is this when turning the direction, can you do this?

Assim como estava fazia barulho ao virar a direção?
You don't usually hear these knock when driving.
@PiggyPower estou a perguntar com o carro parado mas com o carro a trabalhar e virar a direção se sente barulho
If you hear a noise in those conditions, the track rod end is extremely dangerous and ready to fall apart, do not drive!
Good to know
How rusty is the Peugeot 407 underneath
Depends which 407, how it's been looked after and how many miles it's been done and where it's loved!
Nice video! The Irwins are such time saving tools :)
Do you happen to know what brand is the OEM manufacturer for Peugeot track rod ends?
