Hi Sam it sounds so complicated to me but I have every faith in you sorting it out ❤
😛 fingers crossed
I also have concerns about the translation, but hopefully you can figure it out. I think that's part of the gamble with free patterns. I mostly use free ones too but I am less good at figuring out what they mean and generally look for a different one when I get that confused at the start
Same here…but it’s part of the game 😉
The way I interpret the back of the neck is to cast on 11, stockinette back and forth for 7 cm (about 24 rows if in gauge), then do the increases at the beginning of each RS row 6 times (12 rows or 3.5 cm), then cast on 15 sts. Stockinette for 9.5 cm or about 32 rows. Total width of the left side should be about 20 cm.
It looks like you’re not doing the first stockinette rows for 7 cm, maybe just half of that.
I hope this makes sense and is helpful.
Mmmm…that’s how I read it too…I m just concerned about those 7cm…looks like the back will be too wide
@ I think the 7 cm is correct. The Erik sweater by Hanne Pjedsted has an almost identical saddle shoulder with better instructions, if you want to check it out. Good luck! I’m sure you’ll make it work. 💜
Oh that’s super helpful! Thank you
