I loved this! My brother and I played it all the time as kids. Unfortunately, we didn't know what 'autopsy' meant and sent a lot of people to the auto-autopsy machine because it 'got rid of patients faster'. Whoops. EDIT: I just bought and downloaded it on origin.
I played this all the time too! However, the harder levels were so tricky and my doctors went from Speedy Gonzalez to tired turtles. The only solution I could do was to allow a pandemic to worsen so everyone would leave and my staff could rest. But not the receptionists - they seem to steal staff room sofas!
It's a great game and still so much fun! Theme Hospital was released in 1997 so some of the stereotypes may be a bit outdated, but still amazing! You should get them to play Two Point Hospital, the new version made by the same team.

I’ve never ever seen a male receptionist, and every consultant I’ve had has been male. Stereotypes exist because they’re based on reality!

1st time i played this game was in the early 90s. i got addicted to this game alongside the holloween themed rides. it was a fun game too.
