.. Dear Virginia.. I'm so sorry that you are feeling so lowly. I pray that your heart and mind will be healed, and that you have brighter days ahead. 🙏💗🙏
I enjoy making a variety of food, and then freezing some. Yesterday I made 2 meatloaves, and froze one. I just ordered that same moisture meter for my plants. I wasn't sure if they worked, but seeing how you showed us, and gave it a nice review, I ordered the same one just now.. it also has 2 in the package. I have a variety of plants and some require watering at different times and sometimes I either over or under water. Thanks for showing that to us today. 💗 Hubby and I just finished painting the dining room. Took it from beige to a lovely grey. I also bought lovely patio door curtains in a grey with white leaves. It's very pretty.
@@TheThriftyGma Oh I'm so happy for you to have bought the watering meter. Just remember to remove it from the plant immediately after it registers. Your New gray paint & new curtains will definitely lift your spirits. I'm sure the decor is lovely
@@glendasully . I rec'd my watering meters today. Right away I stuck one in each plant...... ohhhh mercy me. My poor plants are all dry. Even though I water once a week, I guess I'm not giving them enough. I have ceiling fans on every day, and am thinking that is drying out my plants. So glad you showed this to us, and now hopefully, my plants will be happier.
I think maybe I've seen those meters in stores, but never looked close to see just what they were. That sounds really handy. I've got a couple of plants that say "keep soil slightly moist". Never waa quite sure how to tell that. I'll definitely be looking for one!
I need to try those recipes! (Cabbage stew & au gratin) and WILL FILM IT! I tried doing something with ground beef lately and it was a total disaster 😆
It's that time of year for soups, chili, and beans. I have beans and ham in the crockpot and just made hot cornbread with sliced tomatoes and onion. Soooo good. I love this time of year. It's only 76 in Knoxville today. Enjoy your day Glenda. I'm cleaning too and about to get new laminate wood flooring. Love you! 🙏😇❤️
Yes it's amazing. I love not having to dig out heavy wet clothes & transfer to the dryer. It does a great job cleaning & uses very little laundry detergent.
Missed you. Glad you’re ok. I got the cleaning bug too. I washed most of my blinds in the bathtub today and cleaned all around the windows. It’s hard work, but satisfying. My mom use to do that.
❤❤ Thanks, Glenda. That cabbage soup sounds so delicious.I have one of those water testers.I thought I'd use it more than I do, but who knows?I've got it for. It now on thanks my friend❤

All your food looks delicious! Will is such a blessing to you! Glad the meters are working for your plants! I have the same green and white dish towel! It was my mom's. Glad Jil, is using the other plant meter! I hoped you would give one to her! I picked those because they don't need batteries or recharging! Got them on Amzn. Have a blessed day!😊❤🙏( I think it is funny that Ife wanted to test the dirt in all the pots of plants....both inside and outside!😂LOL! Did you ever tell Issa about the huge 226 lb Koi fish in Japan??)
@@glendasully I'm not familiar with that one. The one I looked up was "What was the biggest koi fish ever in Japan"? And it came up as 226 lbs. Maybe this would help. It showed it in a blue children's pool with a man in the picture. The fish was orange and white. Looked again and have not seen the original video that I first told you about, but he still will be able to see the giant koi that all the videos show! He will still be amazed!
It's hard to believe that you've been in your apartment for 4 years now. Where did the time go ? You need some cloth or fabric bins that are attractive for that open shelving area that you can put everything into by category. Have one dedicated spot for bills, mail and important papers. Then make another for your medications, then one for any over-the-counter products, then makeup, etc. You could intersperse among these cloth or fabric storage bins framed photos, a few books, some faux plants to soften the area and give visual appeal. Now please this is in no way a criticism of you or how you have that area now. Yes, it's cluttered and messy looking and it probably doesn't function very well for you because you likely find yourself digging through piles looking for what you need. My purpose for offering this lengthy comment is to give you some ideas and to help you. You have a very nice apartment and I really envy you that you're able to clean as much as you do. It's getting difficult for me to do it and I hate that.😊🤗
I bought a cute fabric bin years ago from Home Goods. It's in my closet. That's a great idea to put it on the shelf. Thank you so much for the suggestions!
When you’re frying something on your stove to help the back of the stove stay clean just drape a kitchen towel over it . And when you’re done just remove the towel and that part of the stove will be clean 👍🏼
You've been busy and everything looks great! 👍 As soon as the heat completely moves out, I'm going to run the self-clean on our oven. - Brandon (from VA)

All your food looks delicious. I’m still busy with outside yard work. I planted a small fall garden for the second time this month. It is dry here and the bugs have wreaked havoc in my garden. My plan is to fall clean in October. Hope to have my kids over Saturday to celebrate September birthdays. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Susie
I'm so sorry that the bugs ate up your garden. Hopefully, they'll leave this one alone. Happy Birthday to all your family members celebrating this month!
