How exactly does the binding of a ligand *cause* the pore to open? And what makes the ligand (eg. a neurotransmitter) get expelled from the binding site? I'm thinking that as the ligand fits into the binding site, its component parts get so close to the parts of the site, that intermolecular forces (like Van der Waals forces) become involved between the parts of both, causing parts of the binding site to move closer to the ligand, and because all parts of the channel are linked together, and the channel is made of proteins, and proteins do naturally fold into particular shapes, then the moving of the parts of the binding site to the ligand (and the connection of those parts of the binding site to the rest of the protein), changes the folded shape of the pore structure so that it is open. And then I'm thinking that the movement of the pore to an open configuration then reciprocally changes the shape of the binding site, so that it expels the ligand. Does that idea make sense, and does anyone have any reference that verifies that?
Thank god, you say the first syllable of ligand as in lion. I thought my school's professors all pronounced it wrong because all the other youtube channels pronounce the first syllable as in liberty.
please explain which enzymes and second messengers are used by each of the cell membrane rcepteros? I cnot find these answers anywhere and i have exam in 2 days plz help me
It's crazy how easy the concept is once you learn it.
True
My hopes are on you to create the next benzos or z-drugs...
thank you so much made my day :)
You just saved my grades...thank you, your lecture was amazing 😊💝
Am I the only one listening while putting on mascara...because the studying and my lashes won’t stop, can’t stop 🥰
lmao period
Perhaps a video on Voltage gated ion channel?
I wish I could write as fast as him.
you have Helped me alot
You are amazing 😻
VERY HELPFUL THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOU EFFORT

Cool video 🤩
thank you very much!
I wish you gave examples of drugs that work through this channel
it causes Alien receptors to open, opening the channels for fallen angels to steal your soul.

Super helpful!!!
Amazing!
Thank you!
You're too good
Are substrates ligands?
nice description...thank you very much
THANK YOU
Great :)
Because I cannot find more info on receptors via the heart.
Thanx
Can you make a video explaining the biological action of dmt , N'N DMT

Is it just me? Or does this guys voice sound like he is about to release the biggest burp any second? It's killing me.
Yes, it is just you.
+Fari Khan no it's not just him, it's just you thinking that's it's just him... Idiot.
+Fari Khan listen to the entire clip and then tell me no.. Specifically 1:28 to 1:48..
the guy probably have a runny nose big deal lmao whats killing you
TOTALLY sounds like that!
The whiney voice aside; very good. thankyou.
just one suggestion, could you create shorter videos?
Why? It's a good length.. Reducing the length of the video will compromise the content/ quantity.
It's best to smoke it first 😉💉
Enlarge your handwriting
thank you
but...don't drink the NESCAFE cup when you're recording pls 😒
if you don't like it, then find somewhere else to learn from.
Nothing worth it
