He does! He has some off days but generally he is a pretty freaking consistent as a livevocalist. Not as easy as he makes it look.
I have not listened to Korn in years but dear god they are amazing here. Whoever that drummer is, he is brilliant. Johnathan Davis sounds so good. How does he keep up with the screaming and still sound so good when he sings? The mix is top notch. What a great performance!
When done correctly, the screams and growls are safe.

I have to comment again lol. This show is awesome and it is so obvious that Head is a major part of this band. They're in their 40's here but they have the energy they had the first time I saw them back in 98'. I don't have any words to describe how big of a deal they have been to me.
Me too my dude. They've been with me at all times, when I was feeling bad the most. Depressed, alone... Their music grew on me in all senses, even my already favorites albums. Never gets old and never will!

Yeah, dude. Pretty much. While the Untouchables snare was more of a medium tuning, I still like that one too.
1st Ray plays a 10" Snare in the song 4U and that's way to small for the hole set.
2nd he has mostly a high tuned snare but everywhere it sounds different, if you watch some footage of his drum tech you can hear the high tuned snare, but it's not as high tuned as David's one on the first two albums.

skyelark155 there was a huge falling out, not sure what happened. But David went on a rant trashing everyone, making fun of Head's religion and sobriety, taking shots like that. So I don't think he'll be back anytime soon. Rey is fine, not perfect, but he works for Korn. Truthfully, I think they sound better than they ever have now. They seem tighter, their chemistry is flowing better.
Joe Pachicano yes I have seen them twice live and agree Rey is an awesome player a lot slicker than David... sad how David turned because Head is cool and I'm glad he turned to Jesus he's happier and that is all that matters

I love to hear some of the older songs like somebody someone with Ray on drums. The fills sound so much fuller while still keeping the same general feel of the song. Way better than the original in my opinion even though I've always loved these guys since life is peachy came out.

Pronouncing things like that helps singers/screamers keep the sound more consistent and it’s easier on the voice because pronouncing the word “i” sort of slams your vocal cords together if that makes sense. Saying Yi or Why kinda eases them into it

I don't think Head has the on stage confidence that J.D and Munky do, to be honest. Brian has said in the past it's a struggle for him to do both the vocals and guitar. Which is one of the reasons he is now much happier being in Korn rather than being the vocalist and guitarist in Love & Death.

God its so sad that Ray just fills every bit of space in the songs with fills and shit that does not contribute to the song at all... Before anyone else comments that Ray is better - I know that he's the better drummer technically. But musically not so much. I always liked the original drums because they sonded a bit dirty and they were always played late in the right parts what made the songs feel really heavy. Now the drums are way too straight and there is no space for the songs to breathe...
