Meanwhile, Hamas has accepted a ceasefire proposal drafted by Qatar and Egypt, aimed at ending the war in Gaza. The proposal involves the release of Israeli hostages and hundreds of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails. Because Palestinian prisoners are taken without trial (as hostages). That includes women and children. If people would do some research, they'd know why October 7th happened.

Hamas did not accept the deal that was on the table. They made up a new one with their usual ridiculous demands. Rafah crossing "invasion" was long overdue to secure the humanitarian corridor. The ground "invasion" only happened after Hamas sent rockets from Rafah to the crossing, forcing its closure (and the coincident suspension of aid entering Gaza from there) and where the attacks on the crossing killed 4 soldiers. Vantage points should provide an advantage in discerning the truth and reporting it accordingly...

Why the wrong info about the ceasefire? Hamas accepted a deal that they themselves had proposed NOT what was offered by Israel. Specifically - Israel wanted live hostages exchanged for the Palestinians terrorists, however Hamas changed the deal unilaterally to hostages - dead or alive.

When Israel entered Gaza, they sent messages to all the residents who were not involved in evacuating and even guarding them on the way and bringing them food, medicine and drink, unlike Hamas who took everything and medicine from them and shoots at the Gazans and tells them not to evacuate their homes
