Israel has carried out airstrikes on Gaza's southern city of Rafah ahead of a planned ground invasion. Rafah is home to around 1.4 million Gazans, many of whom are refugees. I liked S. Vaishankar comments because his criticism was legitimate. And yes we Americans criticize other countries and do not mind having our politicians criticized or our policies. After all, we all criticize them you should get a turn. What bothered me with your other politician was the fact that India is much harder on crime of the sort that was being committed by those students in the name of protest then we are. Mr. Vaishankar’s statements were both fair and true.

In order to initiate any talks, both the countries should have a working government which can take decisions on behalf of their citizens independent of army or any other pressure. This is not the case in Pakistan. Pakistan’s government is a puppet government which is run by deep state and the actual control is with its army which has nexus with banned terror organizations. Although its citizens want peace r and prosperity with india, its army would not allow that to happen. If the government starts to think of its citizens and try to stand against this army, well …we know what happened to Imran khan. Turkiye and Germany have the opportunity the German Leader trying to mend relations and to set the diplomatic tone with the Kebab a prized Mediterranean food well accepted Globally for its delicious taste. I trust Germany and Turkiye will reconcile their differences . There is room to achieve all this in other countries in the uncertain times we live in similar to Pakistan and India .Russia and Ukraine and Europe etc. Peace will eventually prevail.
