Hello guys. First of all, thank you very much for visiting Madeira Island 🙏 The "Pearl of the Atlantic" 😉 The Desertas Islands are a natural reserve of the biosphere, as they are home to the largest colony of Sea Wolves in the World. They are an endangered species, and home to the largest colony in the world. Hence a license is required, passed by the Madeira Natural Park to visit. Big hug.
I thought Villa Splendida was some kind of expensive thing but it's surprisingly affordable! btw i'm just curious, i'm not sure where you are now but have you met Elayna and Riley, the couple from "Sailing La Vagabonde"? They are in Madeira
Amazing video, just loved it. You two made me fall in love with Madeira. I was born there but I live in Canada for almost 40 years, however my husband and I are buying a place in Madeira soon. Thank you for your videos amazing . Love you guys ❤
Hello guys! I've been to the Desertas two times already and it's beautiful! My only advice to you is, if you get seasick go on a bigger boat! The sea can get rough half way there and it's not easy on a smaller boat. Can't wait to see you around Madeira!
I've lived in the outskirts of Lisbon for over 2 years. I am now in Madeira for the 3rd time and loving it more and more. Seriously thinking of relocating here. Love your videos!

Tank you so much for all your videos 😻. I was born and lived in Madeira till I was 17 now I live in Paris. I’ve been to Desertas, about 30 years ago (it doesn’t make me feel any younger 😂) it’s an amazing experience, it’s you and the nature, definitely worth living. Hope to meet you very soon in Madeira.
I've been to Desertas on a school trip! Did not go to the top tho. There are a few endangered species, the rock formations are beautiful and the water is pretty clear, it's nice to swim there!
I was born and raised in Madeira, i know this place like the back of my hand, but you still manage to amaze me everyday with your beauuuuuutiful shots!! It's amazing you guys are promoting the beautiful views of the island, not many people know about this little pearl in the middle of the atlantic ocean. Thank you so much for the amazing videos guys ❤️
Love your videos! My father was born and raised in Madeira Island and we love returning to the Island when possible (live in CA, USA). Your videos allow us to feel like we are there during this time when travel is limited. I also have a channel where I cook traditional Portuguese dishes, please let me know if there are any recipe videos you think I should make! You guys have definitely tried your fair share of Portuguese dishes and I would value your feedback. Cheers!
Yes dessert ilands are very beautiful you will love, you can climb to the top of the mountain by a path on the rocks that look like you are in a fantasy land, so beautiful. The water there is so clear and they have dolphins too. Also very rare plants and birds typical from the iland you can see their nests . It is so magical climbing to the top on the natural paths on the rocks that looks like a fantasy paths on the rocks , a magic world. You will love it. You feel so much piece there and is like time stop there and is just relax and enjoy nature . I went with a group from my school visit you need a permission to go there and the guards there will be there for you, and you can disturb the birds not screaming, but just enjoy and believe me climbing those magical and natural paths on the rocks is amazing.
Maybe I'll have to give Madeira a second chance. My honeymoon 10 years ago was there and it wasn't that great. It was like an omen, because 8 years later I got divorced! 😆 So maybe I'm a little bit biased. Bit by bit I'm considering a second chance. You're videos are like therapy. Thank you! 😉🤗
👋🏻 I have a great idea!!! You should offer your favourite, long-term/friendliest/most-caring fan, an opportunity to spend 5 days with you, in Madeira (once you move, of course!) 😉 This whole video was amazing! xx 😘
You won't get the full picture of the island. We're on partial lockdown. On business days you are not allowed to leave your household from 7pm with everything closing doors at 6pm until 5am the next day. During the weekends you get this from 6pm-5am. Despite it, you can enjoy the island when it's permitted, you'll have a pretty good time. Hope you like it
I totally disagree on the bit "but not for living", I've born and grown up in Madeira, all my family leaves there, I've been away for over 30 years, although I go there on holidays sometimes, and you know what? you only realise how good it is to leave in Madeira, until you move elsewhere. the fact that and specially now, with the pandemic, low wages, unsafe jobs, can be a big problem, it doesn't mean Madeira is bad for living, the opposite is more likely, Madeira is one of the greatest places on Earth, a pure Oasis on the middle of a troublesome World. Não devemos deixar as emoções, tomarem conta da realidade, é aí que cometemos erros, dizemos coisas que nos podem prejudicar.
@@TonyRodrigues63 I think it's a good place to be rich. Most places are bad to be poor and it is probably a tough place to get rich, hence the feeling of some who live there. I absolutely love it!
