      Hi Buddy, thanks a bunch for such an inspiring comment! I think it’s because we are a down to earth family with dreams and ambitions and we love to share them to hopefully also inspire others. I appreciate you 😀

      Man, EJ, it came out sharp! I'm sitting here right now working and letting it all sink in. I'll hopefully have an update of the finished project coming up shortly. Should be making most future videos from here going forward. 😀

    Nice flight and flying.
    When done building that shop with your sweat, they'll say that "you didn't build that!"

      Thanks a lot! 😀I laughed when I read this because, come to think about it, you are probably correct. But thank goodness I don't care much for praises. That's why I don't have FB, or no other social media. I do these projects because it keeps my skills sharp and I also enjoy learning from a variety of life experiences. It does not matter to me if a person believes or disbelieves in my abilities. I only care for pleasing the Father above! Thanks and take care my friend!

    You have a unique problem... Two airplanes... (-: A nice problem to have. I just got my transponder and pitot system done. Cost me $1000! Some hose were bad, and a valve was bad. I did my IPC done a while back. So I could fly IFR back to Iowa from AZ, if I needed to. But, I don't have an IFR GPS. I ALMOST bought a 750x last weeki! The local avionics shop had someone back out of a deal. But, I decided against it. I had some unexpected expense come up from our boat we have a Lake Powell. Since then, I've found those expenses won't be as bad as expected. But, I can't really justify a 750xi. They're almost $20K just for the radio now... Ridiculous! My aircraft is IFR. Just no GPS. All the avionics are the original 1979 stuff. KNS80, KX170B, etc. Century IIIB autopilot. If I pick airports that have localizers or ILS, I can still do it. What would you do?

      Hi Buddy, I meant to respond to this message but I just noticed it somehow skipped me. I hear you, it's pretty ridiculous how expensive these simple units are in aviation. Just waiting to see how I am going to handle the two plane situation. A lot of it has to do whether if Javier is going to get his certificate. Thanks buddy!

      I totally forgot the name of the programs. I was messing around with a few programs and they all took a long time for processing. I have them in my computer in Colorado. So when I get back to Colorado in a couple of weeks I'll try my best to remember to reach back out to you. 😀

    Nice video! How do you afford to do all of this? Two planes? Great avionics ? Any tips ?

    • @FlyingDirty
      @FlyingDirty  Рік тому +1

      Hi jnick! Thanks and I really like your question! There are many life lessons that I learned in life that I could write a novel about my experiences. I've always been extremely ambitious since I was young and I am always like a sponge when it comes to absorbing knowledge. But the bottom-line reason is because many years ago I began to get away from the shameful crippling indoctrinating system of accumulating debt and began to accumulate assets. I learned to live my life by owing me as opposed to owing others. Living a debt free life is my secret to being able to afford it.

      @@FlyingDirty That and some serious cash haha 🤑. Anyway - thanks for the replies. I'm a student pilot and did my first solo on 6/12 and now I have 8 under my belt. Thanks for all the motivation and the great videos you make !

    • @FlyingDirty
      @FlyingDirty  Рік тому +1

      @@jnick1909 Yes, with a little patience and by staying away from debt and liabilities I quickly realized that I could easily compound cash by attaining assets. Then started producing my own cash flow in abundance. Congratulations on your solos. I remember those days were very fun and rewarding. It should get much easier from this point. You are almost there! 😀
