Those of us raised on the Chesapeake will adore this boat. Sail it from the southern ocean to the Asian islands, (when the winds are right) the sleep aboard this boat will be exquisite. There is nothing sweeter to the ear than the sound of water against the hull. Wood always sounds better, but a good-sized glass hull will tickle the acoustic nerve.
Wow.. the interior of that boat is absolutely amazing layout! It's well equipped also, incredible boat! It's amazing how much has been upgraded/replaced in only the last 3 or so years. Very nice boat.
you realise that boat is far away from perfect, and its not cheap either.

I don't have that kinda money myself, mind, but if I did, I'd give it thought. If you use her as a liveabord she's 1/2 the price of house in my state, and you can sail. :P

I would love it if they could make a monohull with a much better cockpit like the catamarans. This is one of the nicer monohulls I've seen. Incredible Master cabin.

That is one of the nicest momos I have ever seen! I'm a cat guy( I like the stability in rough seas), but I would definitely be interested in a boat that clean, and well taken care of, if I were looking.

I don't know anything about yachts\or sailboats but I want to go sailing so bad. I cried watching this video Ora is such a beautiful vessel. I'm poor and live on the east coast of America anyone who has the passion and enthusiasm to teach me sailing please reach out to me ill do everything you to tell me do. Scrub, I'll scrub as hard as you tell me too, I don't care although I can't scuba dive and clean the hull of barnicles but I would if I could. I'll do all the hard work just to be able to go sailing for a few hours. I'll be honest ,I've had alot of problems with addiction and intuivetly I feel that sailing could be the one thing that sets me free. I don't have money so it is a lot to ask but you if you want to give someone the gift, please reach out to me and like I said I won't just sit there I'll work for privaledge of sailing with you

Beautiful boat. I am looking for exactly something like this to sail in the Sea of Cortez. So thi being in the Pacific Ocean is a big plus for me. No thinking of a live aboard its more as a vacation 2-4 weeks a year wher mi and my family can enjoy the peace of the ocean. Keep posting videos!

Um just wanted to mention you should never ever put any kind of carpet in your galley carpet catches on fire in less than a second it extremely flammable
Please look up the term “flame retardant”. It is illogical to assume that all carpet is the same.

They essentially built a pilot house over the cockpit that's awesome staying dry and not roasted by the sun is a good upgrade all that solar is good too

This lovely couple did a delivery from Fiji to New Zealand for a Privilege Catanaran for our company... and fell in love with catamarans. The Catalina was bought sight unseen by a US solo sailor who then sailed her from Fiji to Guam non-stop. We are still in touch. He loves the boat!

great Nelson Marek performance cruiser design, reliable Morgan build and excellent mods and maintenance by these owners. Great video presentation. PS does anyone know where my 1978 Morgan 382 is nowadays? ( hull 077 & named : "Passport" for the 21 years I owned it. ( sold in Ft Myers, Fl August 2000 to Landon Smith of Texas)

Gorgeous boat, and clearly they used a lot of money and time on updating an already blue water ready sailboat. I really like, that it is not a typical boat for the age, with maintenance demanding teak plastered all over: People would not believe, how much maintenance that demands, before they see that first hand. My only question is, why would they even sell that one?
Thank you for your comment! Her owners wanted to purchase a catamaran to continue their world cruise, but Ora's new owner single handed sailed her to Guam from Fiji, and I believe he is still going strong!

Yep, from my 4 decades in NZ, it's more common for people to want to sell things after they have screwed them up or used to breaking point, to pass on the problem. They seem to have kept her tip top.

Everyone that I've known that has had a Morgan has had problems with the Deck to Hull seal...they tend to leak.
The Catalina Morgan 45s are nice boats... they feel roomy, spacious inside, livable...I like the lines, looks good...and they sail well, nice handling...
No leaks there. The boat sailed to Guam non stop from Fiji, then back to Fiji. No leaks anywhere. This ship is tight.

I dreamed I was at a ladies house about to have an affair and before we did I realized that I love my wife with all heart so I got up and drove home and right before i got home I realized that the wife I love was my third wife and she passed away 2 years ago with covid 19, but what was worse I was remarried to my first wife who had multiple affairs while married to me and I couldn't hug my third wife and tell her how much I love her.so I I'm honestly with no one now and I would never consider an affair ever. So now I'm widowed and woke up crying. So I'm sorry. Thanks for the comment you sent me because I just like to see people happy because it makes me happy.
