A Chinese zoo has admitted to painting and presenting dogs as pandas to dupe visitors. The zoo painted black patches on Chow Chows, which is a Spitz breed that is popular in Northern China. When zoogoers saw the "pandas" panting, yawning, and barking, the zoo finally had to admit to the truth. But not before twisting the tale. But this is not the first time a Chinese zoo has been unsuccessful in presenting counterfeit pandas. Palki Sharma brings you the report.

The zoo never said they were pandas, but said they were dogs but were 松狮犬。 Very few zoos in China can afford to raise pandas for the cost of taking care of them are super expensive and the number of pandas are so low that they are still listed endangered. The zoo was trying to be creative and entertaining, and all Chinese know what pandas look like since very very young age.
