- The World Health Organization says about 830 women die from pregnancy or child-birth-related complications around the world every day. And the African Journal of Primary Health Care and Family Medicine shows that Ectopic Pregnancies occur in 11 out of every 1000 reported pregnancies in South Africa. But recently, the North West Province recorded the successful delivery of an ectopic pregnancy. And it was cause for much celebration.
