Lakeside loop (Rudyard lake steam railway)

On a busy gala weekend in 2023 we see the loop at lakeside hosting four trains (two up and down sets simultaneously ) through a combination of tokens and operating regulations that allow the busy gala weekend to run as much as possible
A rather simple and ingenious solution to signalling a loop in the middle of nowhere.

Great gala, location, railway and video. Thank you. I remember Victoria from many visits to the Isle of Mull Railway. The guy who ran that line was the happiest man in the world, running train along the Sound of Mull. When I asked him was that true, he did not deny it, but the smile on his face was evidence enough.
