My vehicle has a problem and cannot start. nothing happens if the key is turned to the start position. The ignition coil will also burn after a few hours after the battery is connected. My vehicle was in the workshop more than 6 months ago. can anyone help? Thank You.
Sory for this Delay Response ,It sounds like there could be several potential issues with your vehicle. Since you mentioned that the ignition coil burns out after a few hours of connecting the battery, there might be a short circuit or some other electrical issue causing excessive current flow through the ignition coil, leading to its failure. Here are a few steps you can take to diagnose and potentially resolve the issue: Check the Battery Inspect the Wiring Test the Ignition Switch Check the Starter Motor
If your engine is cranking but won't start ensure your alternator is good. If your engine is not cranking. Check the fuses, ensure the starter is good and powered using a meter. Check your battery using a Meter. It should be 12v while the car is off and 14-15v while it's on. If this isn't the case and it's way lower the battery could be bad and is in need for replacement. (Starter motor needs at least 10v to start hard. 12v to start easy.)
i have the same problem with VW passat 2013 i changed the engine oil, oil pressure switch, as well as oil pressure pump also but after driving 10 min. red light comes up with beep sound.
