Hi Amy. I was just trying to remember which Philo I own and sadly there are not many. I’ve run out of space for more plants not to mention the time and energy to take care of what I currently have. I have a Birkin which Is recovering in a jar of water after losing most of the leaves because I tried to transfer it to leca. I had no success with about 10-12 cuttings of the common heart leaf. I wanted a lovely trailing pot hanging near sliding doors but I ended up with only one part that wanted to grow. It was nice to see your beautiful lush plants, it encouraged me not to give up altogether…. Thanks Amy.
My Peru and Andinsonia and Wizard keep getting yellow bottom leaves. I think they are drying out too much and they need that fine balance of water but not too much and no dry out. Having a hard time with my silver sword too. Yellowing leaves and uptaking water too fast in the leaves

I currently have my philodendron birkin in water, should i keep it there?
Depends on a few things! Is it happy? Growing in water is generally just fine but over time it might need some other nutrients as well to thrive!
