So I'm going to be starting my first wrap this weekend. It's on a 2019 Crosstrek. Vvivid. Smurfs blue. My question: Have you done a Crosstrek before? I doubt one could recall all body contours of every car off-hand, but the lip of the rear trunk hatch looks pretty problematic. The "sill" of the rear hatch and the corners of its cutaway. As far as I can tell, this isn't gonna be too hard. I did the hood already. Piece of cake. Two of the doors are done. Pretty easy. But that rear hatch. I dunno. Acute corners, its looking like. I've seriously watched nearly every one of your videos. I'm ready. I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready! It'll be fine, it comes off. (me reassuring myself).
@CK Wraps how do i vinyl wrap dials or knobs, like the type you use in a car to adjust heating? anyone please respond as this seems so difficult doing circular objects without folds.

1 never leave a dirty rag on the car let alone where you’re working 2 never leave tools on a customer vehicle 3 never wipe a panel you’re about to wrap with your greasy hands even if you’ve just washed them 4 never slam magnets on the car 5 don’t leave magnets on the car. Once you’ve finished with them take them off 6 discard of the backing paper straight away, don’t leave it on the floor 7 before cutting on the paint work snap your blade as it will have more chance cutting the paint work 8 put a wrap glove on when you’re using your hand to squeeze the air out 9 and 10 I can’t remember as I can’t be bothered to watch the video again. And Avery isn’t crap film as I’m sure I heard him say it. If anything vvivid is awful.
South coast wrap car, sounds like all those were your prefernces, not mistakes. I been watching ck wraps for a while and his work and instructional videos are next level. I'm a paint & body tech professionally and in my industry there is more than one way to do the same thing it just comes down to your preference as long as the final result it gold (wich CK WRAPS work is!!) then by all means do it the way u want, just because he does his different than you do yours doesnt mean hes making mistakes
