    Dude, you are blowing my mind in production quality! So happy to see you leaning into your fitness! I've begun switching my watchface to show only my heart rate on easy runs. It eliminates all temptation to go faster. Loving the diversity of your activities! Keep pushing my friend!

      Thanks Paul, it's fun trying to do my best with the editing, glad you're noticing it 😀 Good idea just showing heart rate on the watch, as you can't ignore it then 👍

    Martin so good to see you out on such beautiful runs. I hope you get that soreness fixed. I love how you adjust and go to help prevent problems. The drone video with Jake was beautiful, I wished that was me! I bet the narrow board goes faster as well. Beautiful video as always!

      Thanks Gill, the soreness is proving to be problematic & restricting things I can do, I think time is the only answer, along with the weekly visits to the sports therapist! 💰The board has been great fun & Jake has become pretty good quickly, I'm getting there 😂

    What a beautiful video of your active life. I liked how you combined the music with the video footage, smoothly done!

    glad to see you out doing a bit more running Martin! Shame you were too sore for the paddle board though but it looked like Jake had a load of fun. Thanks for updating us all on how things have been going with you. 😎🤘

    Love those woodland trails Martin and good to hear how you've been getting back into things. That's a good tip on cadence too 👍

    A double bonus-running faster at a lower heart rate. I’m always thinking faster cadence but it seems like a never ending goal….

      Thanks Brian, I know what you mean with the cadence, I seem to go through fazes to try & improve it 🏃‍♂️

    The running is certainly coming along Martin. So good to see you out on the trails. A really nice video showing a range of activities. Paddleborading certainly seems to have taken off, my youngest daughter is often out on hers up in the North West (South West for you!). Hope you get the pains sorted.

    Love the trails Martin! I got jealous when you said 20 degrees haha. We never have such unless we are in the big mountains.

    I have tried creating playlists to help with cadence, kinda works like a metronome. Good stuff Martin.

    Great footage especially those ones with the drone, I love your places for running... Garmin is the brand of my watch as well, but i use the forerunner 245 and now I'm thinking about to update it with the 255... Great video Martin!

    Jake did well balancing on the narrow board. I'm sure it's good to focus on higher cadence, though I always have to remind myself that it will always vary a bit with pace. I don't think anyone does a really easy pace at 180-190 cadence. Good to see your fitness improving too 👍🏻🏃‍♂️

      @TheDeterminedRunner  2 роки тому +1

      He's picked it up quickly, which gives me some hope🤞How you getting on with the watch? My new one is full of bugs! They need to do some software updates! ⌚︎

      @@TheDeterminedRunner The watch is my constant companion. Really like it though I'm trying to work out the features without reading the instructions so I'm not an expert yet! It offered to update my heart rate zones for me after one run and they look much better now.
      I heard there were a few fixes needed for the 955 bit I'm sure that's the case with any new model.

    Have you tried following a route on a run yet Martin? This was the watch I used on my Malvern run but the zoom was that far out it was useless. I could manually zoom in but that didn’t track my route. Still learning the buttons but hopefully it’s a just a software problem and will revert to something that is similar scale to the 945.

    • @TheDeterminedRunner
      @TheDeterminedRunner  2 роки тому +1

      I have tried but sadly there is an issue with the courses & Nav/maps with the 955, basically, they don't work 😣 I'm hoping a software update will fix this? I've just tried doing a live chat with Garmin about it but no one available is all I'm getting 😠
