- A in-depth dive into the one of the most game changing Arma Reforger Updates. We have received way more content than initially mentioned and I will be showing off and talking about everything we currently have on the experimental branch. I hope you enjoy :)

My dream is that when Bohemia finishes developing Reforger, the last update will be a remake of the Singleplayer Campaign Operation Flashpoint 😌
I imagine that'll be more of ARMA 4's plan.

Still have that game, and it's still very enjoyable. Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis was the first military shooter I ever played.

@@yume5338 Would be nice if Arma 4 followed Arma 2 content wise given the "basic" western and eastern gear can be further expanded with mods but still can be used. If you look at Arma 3's RHS then Arma 2 had most of that in its vanilla state, while the A3 vanilla is a lot of futuristic equipment that is left unused.
Yeah I like the roll when you eject out of vehicles. All those previous times players just rolling out of helicopters or transport trucks gonna be a lot funnier. The game is getting more and more realistic. Nice video dawg
fighting vehicles is definetly going to be a better experience. i think it also injures you when you hop out
Hoping that explosives have physical impact on the game world. The vehicles should be made of parts that can break or be torn apart by explosions and stuff
Good stuff, I’ve been waiting for squad commanding and AI vehicle driving for so long.
Now I can make scenarios that work properly.
The flares looks sick can’t wait to be on vanilla servers again 😎
i know im trying to convince darkgru to make a 24/7 vanilla server after the update. we will see if that happens though

@@Commurican Please do! The vanilla is so fun. It was disappointing to buy the game and everyone's game is modded to hell playing Vietnam or modern wars.

The sound design team is really doing a nice job in this game.
Overall it seems to really slowly coming together with nice mechanics. I´m looking forward to upgrade my old pc to finally expierence such stuff like it is intended to be ^^
One thing you didn't cover is how radio backpacks got changed. You can pick what resource they use, and as default in conflict they utilize supplies. They also removed the saved kit (Rambo) from spawning on them.
This is a pretty huge change and effectively gives you the responsibility of keeping your radio supplied. The beacon will also pull supply from nearby sources, meaning you can set it up near a loaded Vic or supply cache and it will eat from that source. Which also means if you track down radios you might find a source on supply to steal.

Im sure it would je a great update, but if you use the ai command menu your gamemaster menu doesnt work anymore, i also cannot recruit ai into my squad on xbox and the ai driving still has too many issues to fit in this comment
I haven't had my gm menus break due to using the command menu yet but to recruit ai you have to be on a faction and you have to make a squad of said faction, so if your going with US ai then you have to join the US faction and make a team for US and same for RU FIA and CIVILIAN factions. I agree with the driving though the ai definitely needs some improvements but its still cool to see.
Chopper gunners... that's all I needed to hear.

Yep. If your on keyboard and mouse i would recommend key binding it to something more comfortable though.

During combat u should make disengage, dont fire and after that make it move while they ignore the enemy

solid as video. game is coming along nicely. slow, but steady. cant tell you how long ive been waiting for flares. will work really well with cold war era night ops. when those heli’s and flares hit the eastern europe servers o my days 🤤
I wonder how the reforger ai will compare to Arma 2's Smart Ai mix. So far the latter has stayed uncontested as the king of Arma AI, but as reforger gets updates its reign might get toppled soon enough.

You say civilian faction, is that going to be an actual team or did they just add civilian clothes
The clothes already existed however now they are adding a playable faction for the civilians. So yes it will be a actual team.

When you commanded them to move up into the line of fire and they refused. Makes me wonder if it's a good thing or a bad thing...👀

It's all great in theory, but has anyone tested it? I have an AI Drivibg Broken AI commanding Broken. In great BI style they will let modders do the devs job.
You should be able to shoot your gun as a passenger like in arma 3. That would be great

I only play Russia because the us never have drum mags for the ARs they use and that's a deal breaker

i tried to get this video out as soon as possible so there may be a few rough audio transitions. but some parts when im showing things off i cut out my voice and the music
i just bought the game on xbox and i do not have nay of these features like the civilian faction or ai command or chopper gunners. Is there a reason i don't have these?
They haven't released yet but based on what bohemia has been saying they should be releasing this week.

@@bgd_ton6648 i believe it would be harder to do on such a large scale. rust does it pretty well with the transport helis but the game is well optimized. arma is just on another level so it would take a while i believe
while its stationary yes but when its moving idk. maybe if its moving slow but at fullspeed you will probably knowing reforger glitch out and fall or just get killed on the spot due to being "run over". but then again i havent tried to stand in one while moving so maybe bohemia will get it together who knows
@@bgd_ton6648 thats not true, there is a mod for dayz that does the same, it works on normal vehicles and even modded helis.
