The snags are near the carpark as that's where most people fish walk North behind the shingle along the grass for 300yards or so you won't find many snags and it's easier than walking on the shingle park in the far corner of the car park
@@theangliaangler Still a tad too cold at the mo thanks mate. Cold and my spinal issues dont mix well together. Thankfully, where I live, we dont get too much in the way of tourists etc and most of the places I fish dont see too many swimmers either. I think the worst I have to deal with is when people come along with their dogs and stop for a chat only to end up with their dogs cocking their back leg against the butt of my rod, but even that only happens rarely - thankfully.
@@MrTatts64 Sorry to hear about your spinal problems. I fully understand your reasons to avoid the cold. The worst thing I find with dog walkers is that a lot of them seem to have no control over their dogs, they call them,. whistle them and the dogs take no notice and they don’t clear up after them either. Saw two lots of dog poo whilst walking to my mark at Dunwich. Hope the weather gets nice and warm for you soon and the dogs leave you alone. Tight lines MrTatts.
Yet another good one sire... It was really blowing a gale when I came over to your side of the country for Easter but I found a few fish just behind the breaking surf! Then again I had managed to get plenty of fresh bait from Gorleston Angling Centre 😁 They seem to get it in fresh each day👌 There were a few small Bass around which was nice as that's what I was hoping for and they seem to like it rough 🤭
Always seems to be windy these days which isn’t too bad except when its coming off the sea. So glad you caught some fish when you were over in this part of the country. Hope you enjoyed it. Nice to know the Bass now about. Tight lines wyeme.
I fished dunwich on sat did not catch a fish till 3 hrs down then it went mad , got 6 dogs and a smoothound and whiting all on prawn and squid and frozen herring no lungworm used.
Thats interesting, maybe I was just unlucky but I still feel I would have done better with some fresh lug. Fresh lug always seems best in my experience but might just be because thats what I mostly use. Thanks for watching Paul and for commenting.
@theangliaangler lugworm was a great cod bait , I fished the 80,s on orford Island from October to April worm was the best bait , now we catching more warm water species think u be better to use fish baits and prawns and squid , I bought a vacuum pack machine and buy it fresh pack and freeze it , need to try diff things to what us old boys used to use lol.
That was the only good thing, didn’t lose any tackle. Going left from the carpark definately seems to be the way to go. Thanks for watching & commenting.
