dude, I wanted to watch this video cuz of the car. I ended up watching all 42 minutes cuz I didn't realize how Beautiful Germany is! the car is Absolutely gorgeous however! I've definitely gotta check Germany out. great video, Dude!
That could have been a perfect view of Germany if you would have reached up and plucked the rearview mirror off the windshield. We almost hit that guy in the rear because I had an obstructed view.
Nice drive. We have a similar setup. A stock motor with bolt-ons, gears, exhaust. I have a tremec transmission and aluminum driveshaft. Your Cobra sounds good.
I too have a 95 Cobra and my 1 cup holder slides out from the center Concel. I really just like it. Yours looked like it was replaced with a newer one. it looks a lot better I'm just saying I notice that.
If a study was conducted on the correlation between stress levels and the ding, ding, ding seatbelt safety feature, I believe that the study would find the that feature caused a dramatic rise in stress levels everywhere it was implemented.
How did you pass the decibel test that they do when you take your car in for that wack ass inspection that they put you through? I had an 03 Mach 1 with flowmasters that was catted and they failed me for decibels being too high. I ended up taking some steel wool and plugging up the exhaust pipe right before I went in for the inspection and passed. Right after, I got on the autobahn and all the steel wool blew out the exhaust lol. Good times out there but not good if you have an American made sports car. They definitely do NOT like them out there when it comes to those vehicle inspections.
Wow love your car, but now I can see why Germans choose the hill country of Texas to settle in. Looks like home and with being southern German and northern Austrian I would love to see the home country
Do you still own this car? How many miles and how is daily drivablility and reliability. I'm saving up for a musclecar. Gonna be ls1 t/a or camaro, svt cobra, or mach 1
I used a Samsung HMX-H200BN camera on a tripod that I wedged into place using the rear seat and floor board. Something like a gopro or at least a suction mount would have been more ideal as the rear view mirror blocks most of the view forward. Still got good exhaust sound from it, though.
It gave it a unique perspective. I guess I will look into getting a Gopro or something similar and some sort of mount. I'm driving a 95 GT with a 5.0l and it's been a pretty nice car.
There's a black wire that goes from where the lock cylinder mounts in the column to a wire harness that provides the ground for the key-in chime circuit. I just removed the wire.
I'm a 40+ year hard core Mustang enthusiast. I've owned the same car in your video, with the difference being that it was white (no garish wheels). So I gotta ask...WHY? Even if you're military affiliated and got your car shipped for free, WHY? There are so many nicer, better quality (and much faster) cars available in Germany. My mind simply boggles at the ridiculousness. The road tax alone on that relatively large displacement underpowered V8 should have been enough to make you think twice...
I see they also levy a tax based upon carbon emissions, which would be high. It's ludicrous to license that car to operate in that country. Hope you had fun while it was there, was it worth all the thousands of euros paid for the privilege?
They didn't say cobra. Mine doesn't either. Nor does my brochure from 95. I want the cobra bumper cover though. Some people even put the cobra badge (snake emblem) on the grill. That's wrong. for the 95 cobra the correct way for the badges/embelems, is the snake emblem on the R n L front fenders, on the grill the running horse and SVT (special vehicle team) badge is on drivers side trunk. That's the 95. Not positive of other yrs.
I own a 96 Cobra love it will own it to the day I die!!!
Same
I alway look at th 96 when I had the 95 because the Dohc sounded so good and was so
Much faster
Amen brother. I have a 95 cobra
Ein super Auto. Auch wenn viele nicht der Meinung sind, finde ich die Sn95 Modelle genial. Ich habe mir nun auch einen gekauft.
God this thing sounds perfect!!! I’m 17 and I’m looking to get a foxbody 87-93 or a 94-95 cobra. Thanks for the video
I'm 15 and got a 98 GT planning to get some cobra parts though. Have you had any luck with your wish's?
@@bradleymiley1322 hey!! Yes I bought a 1990 foxbody in January of this year sold it in June and bought a 2001 cobra

I watched this whole 45 mins and enjoyed every second.
we in the back seat riding with you lmao

+John Demos Germany is a beautiful country especially during the spring and summer. Go visit! You won't be disappointed.
Awesome dude! I got a 94 Cobra myself. Built up a bit a more and supercharged. Love all Cobras! Funny, I also lived in Germany for a few years.
Nice video! Also have a 95 Cobra coupe. Restoring it bit by bit. Have had it since new.
Car sounds great
Greetings from a German Mustang-lover :D
+MrSleesch13 There were several times where I thought about trying to sell this car to a German, but I never could get myself to do it. :-)
Wanna buy a new Mustang? :D
MrSleesch13 Haha. Not really. I like my '95. :-)
Do you stay here or go back to the US?
We'll be back in the US in a few months.
Nice dude...i want one of those so bad...definitely my next car

Thanks to you I have found the exact exhaust to put on mine!
I love the Kansas reference! I am from Kansas :). Thanks for the tour of Germany!

Put a big Cobra commander logo on the rear windshield , i have not seen someone do that on a cobra yet
Nice! I love them wheels. What are they? The make size and all. I'd like them for mine. Thanks bro.
Foose Nitrous II in 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear. I don't think they make them anymore.
I had one of these in 98 I sold it after a lt1 Camaro destroyed me at the strip and got a LS1 trans am I loved
Why not swap a 351 ? Would have easily kept up with a ls

Baddass!
I had a 95 SVT Cobra when I was in Germany. The statement about Germans not liking the cars much is false! Most Germans love them!
Wish I could double click, got the same mustang, has only 105,000 miles 🙂😎
if you don't mind me asking what do you do in Germany,
Think he was in the army.

What year did the dash clock in the
center of the dashboard go away?
1997 was the last year for it.
very nice!!!!
Can you explain about the camera setup? What kind of camera and how did you mount it? Nice Cobra by the way. Sounds really good.

Very nice car! How much horsepower is it putting out
They were only rated at about 240 from the factory. Probably pretty close to that.
How much did you pay for your car.. It looks nice?
$6500. That was about eight years ago.
I paid $5500 for mine. Check it out it's a 96 SVT cobra
thats streets destroy you horse man!
German roads are smooth everywhere but in the small villages!
the car aint stock then
He said the motor was stock... no cams or forged internals ect
The wheels....OMG NO...
