I thought Oobja would be some twisted, psychological horror Roblox myth-like game. Now it’s something I play whenever I feel down. It’s this surreal, wholesome little thing to take my mind off stuff :]

Umm no Lol? It's based off Dream Game, a yume nikki fangame. Yume Nikki and Dream Game aren't "horror" games, they're just exploration games. Although Yume Nikki has some aspects of horror, it's mainly based on the "surreal" part.

Maybe i have seen too much drama to be assuming the creators made the ugcs to get money after finding out the game has been popular but they probably just made them because people were begging for them
This feels so sweet, this game can comfort people who have gone into situations.
It feels nice to see a game of comfort once and awhile since rn in this world, some people are toxic and just bully people in the internet.

When I first played it, I expected something to jump scare me at each corner but now, a purple ball is the nicest thing that I have ever interacted with. I love this game so much
Honestly I've been going through a lot of personal stuff and really didn't think that some random roblox game would really get anything near to comforting me as an actual person because I do feel that the guy that made it, really wanted to send a message to anyone visiting and thinking about it puts a little tear on my face

Oobja is like a mother, and also a friend. He is the sight for the blind, and the food for the hungry. He cares so much about us, even though we are players who have never met. I like to think that every single roblox player plays this as their first game to gain their smiley face because of the fact that as oobja speaks, our face gets happier.
It seems like the caracter you're playing as died and probably has a reason for being sad that we don't know of, this is heaven and it's Oobja's job to take care of you, to make things a little better and transform this tragedy into something new, a happy end, to show you someone loves you and cares about you, to make you move on. But that is just a theory.
Or the game might be just about accepting that the old roblox is gone and things are changing.
That actually makes more sense, since Oobja talks about how lonley it gets there. So the player is probably trying to acces old roblox but it failed. Maybe Oobja tried the same thing and that's the reason it's just a ball now.
Oobja meant to be sad and make you think about life but my display name is "hamburger" and the game keep saying "I love you,hamburger" which completely destroy the atmosphere

My theory is quite unnecessary but here it is, For starters, The game tells us how we are loved and whatever we specify as they will still love us, this might lead to the user. Feeling insecure about themselves as Oobja comforts us. My theory is dark so idk, Anyways, you can see the frown turning into happiness as time goes on and Oobja comforts us, according to Tophat, Oobja might have been a human too. My theory suggests that Oobja was so insecure about themselves because of the haters. That he rounded himself to a round ball. Due to depression some people lead to changing themselves or worse, just passing on. That’s why we are in the sky? Due to the drastic changes of their body. They might as well, passed. That’s my theory, don’t take it seriously, it’s just a theory.

Here is my theory (Roblox Lore)
There are 3 different dimensions in roblox The Beyond, Main Ground and the Banland. When your account is created it has to meet oobja, and then after theyre done with oobja they get teleported to a place in the beyond called the Main Cloud, They have to wait in a line with 1 million other players (new players) until its theyre turn. Your body is then reshaped and then your body will turn shiny will fading away (also they give you a hair too) And then your body will teleport to the Main Ground, But oobja will give us clothes and pants before finally Existing with 6 billion other players. and now all the consequences is real and not like in the beyond where you can die. When you enter a game your body once again fades and then appears in the game, Now you can die but you will always respawn
If your a bad person or even worst, You will arrive in the banland and you will be tortured for 1 days, 2 days, 1 week, if your a bad person then maybe forever. But you can reincarnate as another players with no memory and then you meet oobja all over again
I have my own theory.
Oobja was a human back in the time they were alive, and they passed away alone, having no social life or they had no family connection, they just loves people who lack of love.
Or they were just a disembodied entry, just giving us hope for something good happens, who knows?

Heya! I just wanted to say the video is great, the explanation and theory crafting for something as simple as Oobja is mind boggling. But, I know the true story behind Oobja and why it was created, as I’m friends with Aivyn, the owner of the group and Oobja.
Oobja started out as a game dedicated to one of Aivyn’s friend that was going through a difficult time, and wanted to cheer them up. The old Roblox style didn’t mean to contribute to the game’s overall atmosphere, it was just an addition as part of Aivyn’s development of her games. Oobja wasn’t meant for the public, but rather as a way to cheer up a friend. Aivyn is amazed at how Oobja blew up in popularity and the trememdous support the game has received. Overall, there is no real lore or story behind Oobja, it is just simply a game catered to making you happy. Thanks for supporting Oobja and Aivyn, it means a lot too her!
Damn, that’s awesome! Pretty cool it was made to cheer someone up but I think the success showed that there’s a lotta people who kinda needed a game like this. The fact it’s public is nice tho, it’s a very comforting game and really a good chance of pace from the regular stuff on Roblox

Oobia is actually meant to be a depiction of heaven. As shown by the atmosphere and setting of the environment. As well as the text sent in by Oobia as he sends messages saying how he loves you no matter what. What Oobia means by he once looked like the player is he was once the man himself, Jesus Christ. When he also says how “he” is waiting for him. He means by that God himself, is waiting for him is kingdoms of heaven, where the player shall spend never lasting rest, peace, and love given my god, the son, the holy spirit, the other angels whom walk the kingdoms of heaven, the paradise of freedom and rest.
