This is their way of testing the waters for either Jak 4 or a complete remake like Crash and Spyro. If you want that to happen, don't sleep on this.

InsaneCallum I actually call the game Jacob and Dillion. Allot of people call Daxter, Dillion. To me, Dillion sounds better and I always called him Dillion. So i'm not about to change.
They were working on it for a while and when they were making it they realize that everything they were trying to do was just either too realistic or not in keeping with why people love Jak and Daxter, so the canned it. I’m optimistic that they work out a way to bring it back in the future though👍🏼
No, Modern Naughty Dog would make it boring like the Uncharted games.

camren480 I wouldn't say it's "sad." We have some fantastic games today, too. Last of Us, Uncharted, Red Dead Redemption, Horizon, Witcher 3. All of my favorite games have come out within the last decade. Still, that doesn't take away from how great these classics are.

Spyro is a Skylander now. Activision owns both Crash and Spyro series.

Jak and Daxter has aged very well for 16 years. Ratchet and Clank has shown its own evolution of animation and the improvement of graphics, but the former just stays as it is and still feels like it was released yesterday

Literally just bought the precursor legacy a week ago after realizing that it had been released on ps4 and 100% it in a day. Buying it again yet not one regret.

Jak X, baby! Okay, I know that was a spin-off game, but it was pretty sweet either way, am actually playing through it again rn.
The Onyx Viper the air combat was interesting, but that was about it. The story was no where as good, there was no City to explore, and the change in character design was horrible.
Now we just need a Sly Cooper Bundle and a Ratchet & Clank Bundle.

Black was incredible. Sadly it was published by EA and we know EA doesn't care what we want. That game just isn't pay to win enough for them unless they'd add loot boxes to it.

sLasHeRxXx07 They are both great. TLOU has the best multiplayer of any naughty dog game and Jak is the best cartoon platformer naughty dog ever made imo.
sLasHeRxXx07 I don't think you can compare Jak to games like Uncharted and Last of Us. You may just prefer the more just for fun, kid-ish type games, but I prefer enjoying a whole variety of games. But I can't even get a Switch at the moment and i am a fan of there franchises.

Naughty Dog has moved on from making those types of games. The original creators of Jak and Daxter don't even work at the company anymore.
