I just finished playing the 1st game for the first time, and wow. Just wow! I'm wondering how the heck did that child friendly platformer turned so angst plotwise. Can't wait to start the 2nd game tomorrow.
@@gfiitz In my opinion: The Precursor Legacy as well as Jak II, 3, and X (Combat Racing) will always be classic/timeless. As Bench468 had mentioned, TPL is a child friendly platformer with the overall least dialogue but best visuals. It is also the easiest of the four J&D games that I mentioned in my above paragraph too, aside from (obviously) being the first one as well. This is also the only game where Jak doesn't talk or use guns either. Before I even started playing Jak II in the first place (which was back when that game was first released in 2003), this was the trailer that I saw for it. While Jak II is overall a very solid and fun game, it is also just way too fucking hard. (In fact, I know that video game critics have given Jak II an 8/10 in difficulty, which sounds about right to me. And obviously, getting all 286 Precursor Orbs and completing the game in Hero Mode is even MORE difficult...which is why I've never even bothered attempting with those.) Plus, the game's plot can get a little bit dark and edgy at times too, although I know that that's what some people love about it haha. Regardless, I have still managed to play this game from beginning to end and beat it a few times before, so there is that. Jak 3 is an all around classic game with a very complex and deep story line, multiple characters and hub locations, etc. It is more difficult than TPL but easier than Jak II. Not only have I played this game from beginning to end and beat it a few times before, but I've even gotten all 600 Precursor Orbs in it a few times before too (which is definitely more difficult than the game itself...but still doable, nonetheless). I have not attempted doing a full playthrough AND getting all 600 Precursor Orbs in this game in Hero Mode though, but obviously that would be harder. I also like how Jak 3 has an overall more mellow storyline compared to Jak II, although the villains in this game are a bit weak in my opinion. And there isn't quite as much to explore in Haven City as compared to in Jak II (but by contrast, at least Jak 3 also has Spargus City and the Wasteland to compensate for it). Jak X: Combat Racing is around the same difficulty as Jak 3, if not SLIGHTLY harder, I guess..? I mean, the thing about Jak X is that it is a VERY time-consuming game and half based on luck (instead of skill) at times too. It is also (obviously) not a platforming action-adventure game, but rather a vehicular combat racing game instead. Still though, the fact that there are multiple types of races that you can play in this game, combined with 31 different racing venues (split of 24 racetracks and 7 combat areas) is what makes this game as solid as it is. I have managed to play this game from beginning to end and beat it at least three or four times in total. And lastly, there are even more geographical locations that you explore in this game compared to its predecessors too!
Without the same teams, or the new teams uses different themes for the game. It wouldn't be the same. To Jak and Daxter fans, could you ask Matt McMuscles *Wha Happun* to Jak and Daxter series, please?
I've been looking for this trailer for ages to the point where I started to wonder if I imagined it.

What are your thoughts on Jak 2? It’s one of my favourite games of all time!

Title should be called “Jax and Daxter 2”.
That’s what they called it in Japan

I don't get it! PS1 and PS2 games are gold mines and Sony is not remaking them!!
