Amazing location! The warm colours of the Sun with the blues of the shadows and sky is beautiful. Excellent video as always! Happy 2022!
Thank you! Ohh yes, that sun was a blessing😍
Happy new year to you too🙌🏼
Glad i found your channel-I like your narration style. Great shots in here!
Aww sweet, thank you!🤗
Beautiful intact snow ... morning light ... awesome.
Yeees😍
Wow! I smiled several times during this video. Just got into 35mm photography and your videos are 10/10!
13:05 the horizontal version has great geometry with the trees seperating the mountains which adds depth as well and its like 3 vetricals in 1 its printworthy 👍🤩
These are sooo good! I’ve always thought snowy places look better on film
Aww thank you!🙇🏻♂️
Re: the vertical vs. landscape shot looking down on the village, I for sure prefer the landscape shot.
In general, great video! Beautiful setting!
Ahh alright, good to know!
Thank you🤗🙇🏻♂️
These images are amazing as always
Aww thank you!🥺🤗
The light was exquisite! The photo of the village horizontally is better, because for me it matches the orientation of the village and the forest around it!! It gives it more of a landscape view which is what you want!! Also the k1000 is a tank, it never breaks(unlike most of the modern digital gear)
Hmm I see what you mean, thanks for sharing your thoughts!🧐🤗
Haha yeah I had noticed last time I dropped it, but I still get nervous😅😅
Love the colours ! My 2 favorite pictures are the one with the little trailer and the last one with the lake 🤩
Ahh interesting ok, thank you!🙇🏻♂️🤗
12:43 I actually really like how the trees frame the tops of the 3 mountain peaks in each third, much prefer the horizontal version I think
a lot of nice photos all in one roll.
I think my favorite image is the vertical shot with the mountain in the middle 8:18 - generally being able to see more of the trees and how the tree on the right framing the mountain has its branches moving up was also interesting :)
Ahh cool - I see what you mean, thanks for pointing that out🤗
You got some amazing shots in here. That “messy” shot at 11:15 is just incredible. It’s the type of textural, rich photo that I feel only benefitted from the limited time you had to compose. Always glad to see your videos in my feed, they never disappoint 💛
I like the horizontal one with the trees. The framing reminds me of a Japanese woodblock.
Ohh cool!🙇🏻♂️🙌🏼
What a place! Loving all the snowy shots Teo, that light was👌Both shots framing the mountain are great and really like the last photo too. Great stuff as always. Happy new Year!
Ahh sweet, glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!🙇🏻♂️ Happy new year to you too!🤗
Love the photos! This location is so nice
Aww thanks! Yes, I'm aching to go again once it snows again🤗
Lovely composition of photos as always 😍
Thank you!🙇🏻♂️🤗
Wonderful snow photography, I like this!!!
Thank you!🙇🏻♂️🤗
Really really loved this video and all of your shots! The vertical one with village and the depth field is my favourite :))
Aww thank you!🙇🏻♂️🤗
Ahh I see, thanks for sharing your thoughts!🙌🏼
15:59 looks awesome!
Thank you!🥺🙇🏻♂️
Amazing photos just as always! How did you expose them though, I know its harder to get the right exposure in snowy conditions, could you please tell me your trick?
One day you will get to the lake I just know it!
I will! Hopefully in the next month or so, when we get some snowfall again💪🏼
I love the snowy landscape in this video! My favorites are 7:15 and 11:11 I really like the amount of snow in the second photo and how the sun causes a glowing effect! Random question but are you able to do UA-cam full time, or do you do a different job on the side as well?
Aww glad you do! I see, thanks for sharing your thoughts - I also like all the sparkles a lot in the 11:11 photo! 😍
Ohh sadly not even close yet. I do various jobs on the side. I just finished a three month long internship at a Photo-gallery and archive and I'm currently part-time working for an agency as a video producer. However if things go well and I can somehow manage to align everything correctly I might go full-time in autumn 2022 for as long as possible, just to see if it would work out :)
calming
Great🤗
did you use a light meter (possibly an app on your phone) or your cameras internal light meter for the shot at 9:50? shooting against the light can be tricky but you did make it work quite nicely!
I don't use the internal light meter, because I've been too lazy to get a battery for it... but I actually enjoy the full mechanical aspect of the camera anyway :D
Therefore as you guessed I meter with my phone. So I purposely meter for the shadows🤗
Very good photos and good video. I’m curious if you overexposed for the bright snow in camera, or if you adjusted the scans? 👍
Man, can you believe we went from that, back to 14C sweater weather again haha All great images but the last one is probably my favourite ^-^ Looking forward to when you manage to get to the lake! Hopefully the snow comes back soon.
Yeeah it's so disappointing...happens every year nowadays😔
But yes, I do hope that January and February are going to bless us with a couple more cold weeks🙏🏼
Ahh cool, good choice😍
@@teocrawford
Fingers crossed for end of Jan and all of Feb. 🤞 We usually get a bit more this side of the border also, but definitely only a fraction of the amount compared to 6 years ago 😔
Great job on the hike, I find landscapes pretty challenging myself. Even with 645.
14:55 wide vinatge glass might have a vignette effect, when you shoot wide open, but I suspect you shot at higher apperture - any other photos, that you had it on, prior this shoot?
Great!
Please, help with a doubt about freeze cold whether: the cameras are damaged in winter from below zero to minus 10-15 degrees (I'm in Norway).
Are cameras damaged at these temperatures? In the instructions it says to use it at temperatures between 0 and 40 degrees. They saying it because of the batteries, or because the sensor, lenses, electronics, screens, etc. get damaged?
I know I have to bring backup batteries and keep them warm and also do not enter the house with the camera, before putting it in a sealed plastic bag to avoid condensation.
But, just the fact of taking the camera out cold, would it harm it? Or you are safe, as long as we ensure a slow and safe temperature transit of the camera.
Maybe put heating tapes on the Camera and lenses, like the ones on the telescope?
Thank you
Where did you get our jacket? I absolutely love the way it looks. Amazing video btw, as always.
Phheew I got it quite some time ago, I don't really know where🤔🤷🏻♂️
@@teocrawford no worries. I’m surprised you replied haha. Well done
Nice video as always ! What's the name of the village you shooted at the end ? Seems like a nice place to visit in winter
Love the shots! But was the camera ok after the fall? Any tiny bit of snow could have melted and gone into the camera.
Thank you!🙇🏻♂️🤗 I think so... so far it still seems to be working👀👍🏼
perfect for relaxing! soo beautiful. where is this music from?
Thank you!🙇🏻♂️
It's from Epidemic Sound🙌🏼
@@teocrawford nice! and how you edit your digital photos its looking so epic?
Please get yourself some shoe grips for walking on slip surfaces
Shiiiiit what in intro. How you automaticaly protected your camera not pulling your arm to you :D Hope you're alright and happy new year!
Hahah yeah, to my surprise I'm totally fine - not a scratch :D
Happy new year!🙌🏼
Any plans to start shooting medium format?
Hi! What app do you use to calculate the exposure?
Very inspiring! Which lens did you use?
Thanks!🤗 The lens I used most of the time is a Cosina 35mm f/2.8 lens🙌🏼
One word: snowshoes.
😍
😍🤗
16:20 funniest part of the whole video :)
Hahah I think so too😂😂 I've watched that clip and laughed at myself quite a few times already hahah😅😂😂😂
@@teocrawford I laughed quite loudly when I saw it. :)
only noobs use +2ev for snow
Lol dude chill out I'm just learning, eh😅😅
Great Video! What camera and lense did you use filming this? Was it the A7iii with the 14mm Samyang?
Thank you!🤗 The wide shots are all with a GoPro Hero8, the rest such as the Intro was the Sony but with the Tamron 28-75mm🙌🏼
@@teocrawford Oh okay! Thank you :)
